One day while looking out her window, she saw a truck for some moving company. She didn't want to seem like a stalker to her new neighbors, so she looked away while the people got out of the car. She managed to sneak a peek at her new neighbors, when she saw a boy about her age and a woman, which she guessed has his mom.

She almost never went outside her house but she had a sudden interest when she saw that boy, so she put on some shoes and went skateboarding.

She hoped to be sneaky and not make eye contact with the boy. As she pasted by his house she couldn't bring herself not to look. She turned her head, and saw him unloading some boxes into the house. He saw her and she nearly fell from his shocking attractiveness.

A couple of loops around the neighborhood later and she felt something behind her, like someone's presence. She managed to look back, and there he was on his scooter. He looked about 14 with tousled dirty blonde hair and light skin. He wore a blue t-shirt and jeans.

He switched to her lane on his scooter and turned to look a her. They made eye contact and smiled at each other.

She wanted the day to be like that forever, but she was already tired of the intense heat. She returned to her house making sure he saw where she lived.

For the rest of the day and the morning of the next, she couldn't stop thinking of her new neighbor, and she wished he would feel the same. She was mad that she didn't talk to him, or at least get his phone number. Then she was mad at herself for thinking that, she didn't have her other neighbor's phone number. Why was he so different? It couldn't be love at first sight, that definitely didn't exist in real life.
