She spent most of the day looking out her window. When she got tired of waiting she decided to go skateboarding again, hoping she would see him. She was confused on why she had such a strong urge to see him again.
She put a limit on herself, trying to hide her excitement to see him.
Five loops around the neighborhood and I'm done, she thought to herself. While passing by his house she saw the woman she guessed was his mom. The woman was outside on the phone, but there was to sign of the boy.
Seven loops later, she gave up. She went back home, feeling kind of down since she didn't see him. A crazy theory suddenly started forming in her head.
What if she didn't really see him in the first place? She ignored her crazy conspiracy theory about the boy, since she still had a chance to see him while running at night. She headed out for her nightly run and as she turned in the corner where the park was, she saw a human silhouette.
It was him, holding a puppy.A cute boy with a puppy.....there's nothing hotter.
He saw her and went straight to his house. She felt uneasy about his reaction to her but she didn't let it get to her and kept running. The next time she passed by his house she saw him go outside and start running as well.
Running turned into a game with him. She passed him so he passed her, always switching lanes so it would be noticeable. They sensed each others playfulness and kept going, until an hour went by and they got exhausted.
She entered her house, once again making sure he saw where she lived.
She was so happy for seeing him that she got mad at the fact that he made her so happy. She risked looking out the window. He was still running, and they made eye contact. She regretted that, and was afraid he would think she was stalking him.
Again she was mad for not asking him for his phone number, or even his name. She couldn't go around wondering who this mysterious lane boy was, like if it was some cliché fairy tale.
