Chapter Four

See me after school

I frowned because I knew I had to see Auntie Jackie after school today, why was today so good and also... so bad? I was going to reply when he sent another message.

I ain't askin either

A small smile cracked on my face as I tried to think of a way to break it to him, I couldn't today but I didn't want to tell him no.

Ok.

Was my reply and I went to my Messages App to text Auntie Jackie and see if I could come any time later.

Can I come a little later, not right after school?

I knew she wasn't going to reply right away so I locked my phone and placed it in my skirt pocket. I looked up as the bell rung and Ms. Holisse entered the classroom to start class.

"Morning, class."

"Good morning." We replied as I pulled my binder out my backpack.

Class went by in a breeze, the day went by in a fast breeze and Kasmin wasn't in any of the classes like I expected, my feet were killing me and my head was starting to hurt, I was so ready to go home and lay down. However, every time I thought about it, I remembered that Auntie Jackie said I didn't have to come right after school and that I also had to see Kasmin after school. I was curious to know what he could possibly want with me, it was probably going to be about Asiah trying to fight me and he was going to have her back, I knew this because not to long ago, she made a status about how he couldn't stay away. While she didn't put a name to it, we all assumed it was about Kasmin, they are so on and off anyway. I was so antsy in the last hour of the day, my leg was bouncing so fast that the chair was starting squeak, I calmed myself as the last bell rung and everyone quickly filed out of the classes. The halls were packed with people and like always, people were busy socializing than trying to hurry and leave, I glanced around for Kasmin but couldn't find him. I slowly made my way to the front door as I heard a familiar loud mouth and followed the direction of it, I turned down the last hall close to the back of school, where there was a back exit and saw the group standing there. I slowly walked forward as I stared at Asiah cuddled up into Kasmin's side, he stood up straight as he stared me down while I came closer.

"Apologize to my girl." I stared at him like he had grown four head.

"You and everybody else's girl?" I asked, one minute I was standing about five feet away from him and the next, he had me pinned to a locker by both my wrist.
