I slowly pulled myself up with a slow stretch, I rubbed my face gently before glancing around my bedroom to find Jaden on the floor with his Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? book that he was reading aloud to Kasmin. I rotated my neck before looking over to see Kasmin and Jaden both staring at me, Jaden pulled himself to his feet and rushed over to the bed before trying to climb up. I pulled him up with a smile on my face before tickling his belly as he giggled and playfully kicked at my arm for me to stop. I glanced over at Kasmin as he watched on with his hands resting on his knees, which we pulled up into a comfortable positon on the pallet underneath him. He had stayed the night and while had offered him the couch, he decided he wanted to sleep on the floor beside me, something I gladly didn't protest to.

"Morning." I said. "I need to go the bathroom then I'll make some breakfast."

I pulled myself up and Jaden climbed off the bed next to follow me to the bathroom, I glanced behind me to see that Kasmin was also following me but he broke off as I entered the bathroom and he walked to the kitchen. Him spending the night didn't go as you would of planned, all we did was talk a little then hit the hay, I woke up in the middle of the night to hear him snoring like a whale before I rolled over and went back to sleep. We didn't stay up talking about his lifestyle or mine, we only talked about the latest school projects for the classes we shared and what my plans were now that I was alone. I washed my hands thoroughly before exiting the bathroom, I swiftly made my way to the kitchen and tossed a dirty bowl of dried oatmeal into the sink with a sound of disgust, I turned the front left stove eye on and walked to the fridge as Kasmin and Jaden made their way to the living room.

"Something wrong with y'all TV?" Kasmin asked, smacking the TV remote against his hand.

I looked through the small window of the kitchen wall facing the living room and nodded my head, he looked at me questionably. His handsome face couture with confusion before I realized he didn't notice me nod at him, his hair was rather untamed and mashed in the back from him laying on it but it only made him cuter as he stared at me.

"Yeah, Jaden spilled some water on it when he was younger... I think it was water." I can't remember, that was too long ago. I grabbed a couple a carton of untouched eggs and walked to the counter to set them on.

"Damn..." Kasmin carelessly tossed the remote aside and slouched on the couch, he looked at Jaden as Jaden sat on the ground and stared at him. "Alright, little man, what we doing?"

I couldn't help the small smile that came over my face over my face as Jaden cutely shrugged before cocking his head patiently, he was waiting for Kasmin to find them something to do and from the looks of it, Kasmin seemed just as clueless. I lightly chuckled as I grabbed a bowl and cracked five eggs inside, I whisked them together with a fork before grabbing butter out the fridge while glancing in on Kasmin and Jaden.

"You two can... find something to draw on, there's paper somewhere around here."

"I'm a thug, I don't draw." Kasmin replied, looking at me with a deadpan expression.

I rolled my eyes. "And you're acting like someone's going to know." I said, shaking my head as I turned back to the stove and dumped a spoonful of butter inside the warming skillet.

"Girls like you can't keep your mouth shut, I've had my share."

"Boy please, you'll never find a girl like me because I ain't like any of these other girls around here." I said truthfully while meaning every word.

"Word?" He asked, a smirk on his face.

"Word." I repeated mockingly, a light smile on my face as I dumped my bowl of scrambled, raw eggs in the hot skillet.
