I opened my eyes slowly, I felt something fuzzy on my head. I was afraid to move, what if there was something dangerous sleeping on my head!

"AAAAAAAAH!!!!!" "FUCK OFF SQUIRREL!!! GET OFF GET OFF GET OFF!!!!"

Wait...Squirrels are cute, not dangerous. "WAIT COME BACK!!" I chased after the squirrel as it ran from branch to branch. Total fail. I was to big to fit through the tree branches. I growled at the squirrel as it stood on a tree branch right out of my reach. "Stupid squirrel!! I'll EAT YA!!" I broke the branch that I was stuck in and grabbed the little furry. I didn't care if it was cute. I was hungry. And I'm a demon, I have an excuse to eat innocent things.

As soon as I was about to put the little creature in my mouth, there was rustling behind me. I slowly put the squirrel down so it can scatter, but it stood there staring at me. "Scram before I change my mind!" It scurried away into the trees once again.

Sans POV

I woke up to the sound of screaming. It was so loud that it rang in my skull...perfect way to wake up. I almost fell off the branch I was sleeping in, forgetting that I slept in a tree. The scream sounded familiar. From what I heard, someone was chasing a squirrel. It can't be a mutt cause they don't live in trees. I teleported to the ground and followed the rustling of leaves up in the trees. The sounds of growls were followed by insults.

"Stupid squirrel!! I'll EAT YA!!" If I'm right, that should be someone I know. I teleported to somewhere near that someone so I could get a glimpse of them.

I was right, there she was. Y/N was torturing a squirrel... I wasn't really gonna question it. I was guessing she heard me beacause she released her breakfast and looked around. I waited to see if she could find me. Shit, where did she go? I couldn't see her anywhere now...maybe she fled.

"WERE YOU FOLLOWING ME!?" "Oh fuck!" That scared me. Y/N was using her tail to hang on a tree branch. She was upside down and facing me. I swear she wanted to scare me on purpose. I didn't know what to say, I never really got a good look of her this close. "Well!?" Her tone was different, she wasn't the same Y/N that I remembered. "Well, everyone was looking for you, and I figured you'd be here." "Heh, creep." She got down from her branch and sat next to me. "Oh so now I'm the creep! You're the one who would spy on people." We laughed together on the tree. Even though her voice was different and more... scary in a way, I could tell that she was still a human. After laughing I asked her if she was gonna come back to town, but she didn't answer. Instead, she looked away and frowned. "I-I don't think I wanna go back...yet." "Alright, then I'm gonna stay here until you come back." I wasn't gonna lose her this time. "Sans please don't. I don't wanna h-hurt y-you." She was able to hold in her tears and keep a straight face on. "Then I'll just have to stay farther away, if it doesn't mean I'm leaving." She have a me death glare back. It made my spine shiver. Her eyes were staring straight into my soul, I could feel it. She was annoyed, but I still wasn't gonna leave.

Your POV

I can't have Sans follow me around! He will get hurt if he does, but he was being stubborn and decided to stay until I can go back home. I wasn't ready to reveal myself to the world yet, actually I wasn't ready to reveal myself to anyone else. About hundreds of people probably know by now. I don't like the attention much. I jumped off the branch I was on and tried to ignore Sans, but he followed me with that stupid grin on his face. "Sans go back." I mumbled, but he still followed. I was getting hungry and tried to chase a few more animals. I was able to catch a few birds and squirrels. Sans just stood by and watched me hunt. I ate by this lake I found with Sans following me. I bet he was hungry, so I thought he would leave to go back home, it instead he pulled out a hotdog from his jacket and ate it. "You want?" He asked, but I turned my head from him and continued to eat my own food.
