"Carson!!" His sister whined from the living room, tapping her foot impatiently on the wood tiled floor .
"Yes! I know, I'm almost ready, I just need to get the tickets so. just. wait. a. moment" Carson replied, rummaging through his backpacks for signs of the familiar green slips of paper.
"Carson Woods!"
"It's just Carson to you, Ella!" He cheekily replied to his sister.
"Don't change the subject! Did you lose the tickets?!" Carson saw the tears brimming in her eyes. '(This is not a good time to breakdown, especially since I'm panicking right now!' He thought to himself), shrugging to Ella.
"I'm sure they're here somewhere E, so don't worry!" Carson said and rummaged through his backpack even faster. He was amazed to find the green tickets of paper at the very bottom of his backpack, despite it being checked 5 times already. "See? Right here!" He said proudly holding up the tickets, and Ella's panicking relaxed into happiness once more.
Carson grabbed his stuff and headed outside and bright rays of sun hit his pale skin. He held out a hand, mentally cursing himself for forgetting to wear a hat in the heat, and shaded his face with his arm. Ella,on the other hand, was lost in her own world, so Carson just dragged her along to an uber.
"Okay, let's go" he signalled to Ella, as they got out of their uber and over to the meet & greet line. Carson looked over to Dan and Phil and stopped for a second noticing how their eyes shined in the bright lights.Phil had this blue-green to his eyes that looked like the ocean but calmer and Dan had an ordinary brown colour to his eyes but there was a spark. Everytime when he met a fan, without fail, Dan's eyes lit up making Carson tingle.
As the 2 girls left left and a few new fans came up to meet the two British YouTubers, Dan's eyes scanned the crowd as he had done before, and Carson could swear Daniel's eyes landed on him for a moment, and Carson could feel a soft intensity behind Dan's eyes, but in a few seconds it was gone as Dan turned his attention back to the fans.
Carson blushed, wondering if he had been staring, but he already knew the answer. Whenever he caught Ella watching any one of Dan and Phil's videos, he would sit and watch and found himself relating to parts of Dan and Phil. Phil's clumsiness was one of these things. Another thing was Phil's optimism, which while he couldn't relate to it, he still admired it. Dan's gullible nature that would fool him to believe things (banana fortune telling)because it was from Phil, his closest friend even though Phil pranked him a lot.
"Carson? Snap out of La La Land!" Ella shook Carson's shoulder knocking him out of the trance he was in.
"If I was in La La Land, I would never snap out of it?" He said, taking out his phone to see a text from his friend, Michelle
"We're almost up! I'm practically shaking!!!!" Ella said, bobbing up and down in her spot. It was true, her hands were shaking uncontrollably and Ella fidgeted with them, as she did when she got nervous.
"Can't wait!" Carson said sarcastically, looking at the text from his roommate.
Michelle: Yo Carson!
Carson: Wassup michi
Michelle: Sorry I wasn't home last night, I slept over at Jon's
Michelle: Who btw is completely crushing on you
Michelle: So pls text him so u guys can go make out somewhere
