Spectacle ~Blake

Today was your big day. You were playing a lead role in a school spectacle which was your big chance to start a career you always dreamed of. It was a big thing and you were a little bit scared.

When you were afraid of something, you could always talk yo Blake. As your boyfriend, he always tried his best to comfort you and make you smile even when it was hard. Unfortunately, today he had rehearsals for their tour, because they were leaving in less than a week. He wasn't able to come and see your performance and he was really gutted about it. You tried to show him that it was nothing, but you were really upset. You were practising for weeks and you really wanted to make him proud, even with a such stupid occasion like a school spectacle.

You were standing behind the curtain. A play was supposed to start in 5 minutes and you were really stressed of it. You couldn't see people at the audience but you could hear a lot of voices whispering. It meant that a lot of people came to see the spectacle, so you suddenly felt a lot of pressure putted on you. You knew if you do something wrong, you will destroy all the spectacle so you will waste all of the hard work of your classmates.

You heard the director screaming "Get ready for play". You felt your heart beating really loud as you could barely breathe of nerves. The lights at the audience went off and the play was meant to start.

You came at the stage first looking with shock at the people. Suddenly, you saw some brunette in the first row who you seemednto know from somewhere. You recognised your boyfriend, Blake. He was smiling at you, sittimg with crossed fingers. You breathed heavily and looked at him while starting declaming your first poem.

The play went really well. You didn't forget anything from scenario and you just kept starring at Blake, imagining you say it only to him as it calmed you down. After you got off from stage, you changed from your costume and you quickly ran to Blake who was waiting for you at the backstage with open arms. You sobbed into his chest with a big smile on your face.

"I'm so proud of you, you did really well [y/n]" he said before kissing your lips. You felt so happy at that moment.

"I thought you couldn't make it tonight" you said with a grin on your face.

"I couldn't miss you performing. I will make everything to see the results of your hard work babe" he kissed your forehead. "Now come on, you deserve a big dominos with double cheese" he said smiling as you walked home holding each other's hands.
