Today was supposed to be really good. Your boyfriend, Reece, asked you out and you were really excited about it. You loved spending time with him, even on such stupid things like watching films or walking to the park. He made every second better by only being close to you.

There was one problem... You woke up with a cold, sneezing all the time. You thought it will get better, but it's gotten only worse as your head started aching a lot as you had a fever. You decided to cancel the date as you couldn't even stand up without terrible pain crashing your head. You pulled out your phone and texted him:

Hi, I can't make it tonight... Not feeling well. Sorry xx

You were gutted about the fact you've just canceled your date, but you didn't want him to catch it. He replied within a minute:

Everything okay? Can I do something? Don't worry, we can reschedule xx

You sighed. You loved his protective side and how he was worried about you. It made you love him even more every time he did that. He was the most caring boyfriend in the whole universe.

You replied quickly:

It's okay, just a cold I think. Thanks for asking xx

You were laying in the bed under the blanket when you heard the doorbell. You stood up slowly with a huge pain in your head and you went upstairs with a blanket wrapped around you. You opened the door and you saw Reece standing there. You let him in and you closed the door.

"Hi babe" he said while hugging you quickly.

"Hi Reece, what are you doing here?" you asked as you pulled back. It's not that you didn't want him here...

"I just wanted check out if you were okay" he smiled while kissing your forehead. "Aww Julia, you have a fever! Now come on, let's get you in bed"

He lifted you up in a bridal style and then he went upstairs to your bedroom. There, he put you into a bed carefully as you were 3 years old child. Then, he laid next to you, wraping his arms around your waist and kissing you lightly.

"Reece, thanks for coming, but I don't want you to get sick..." he kissed your lips so you couldn't finish the sentence.

"Shhh... Babe I don't mind getting sick as we can be sick together" you laughed at his words. "Now get some sleep, you need to rest"

You smiled, whispering quickly "Thank you" and then you just laid in his arms, as he was stroking your hair delicately. When you were drifting off, he kissed your forehead, whispering:

"I love you Julia"
