Chapter 9: Teenagers

Gerard:

I got in this morning from being with Frank all night, Mikey text me saying he was dropped off at school by Ella and I sat at my desk drawing for most of the day. I drew Frank mostly but I went back to Frank not long before lunch.

I got in the hospital and helped Frank take a pain killer. My phone started ringing, I looked at the caller ID it was Ella, by now it was lunch. I picked up my phone.

"Hello?"

"Hey Gerard, have you heard from Mikey?"

"No, why?"

"He was supposed to meet me for lunch at costa but he hasn't shown up yet"

I began getting anxious "oh he hasn't text me or anything, why don't you wait a little bit longer, he has a tendency to be late"

"Ok, I will text you if he doesn't show, I have tried ringing him and texting him but he isn't answering" Ella said with worry in her voice.

"Ok speak to you later"

"Bye"

"Bye"

I put down the phone and sat on Frank's bed with him and gave him a cuddle making sure not to hurt him. "What's happened?" Frank said clearly seeing the anxiousness in my face, "he hasn't shown up for lunch with Ella and he isn't answering his phone. "Oh, he should be ok" Frank said before giving me a passionate kiss, it lasted for a while then a nurse came in and gave Frank a blood test. I left the room and went to the cafeteria to get us both some coffee.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I checked who the text was from:Ella. 

"Hey Mikey still hasn't turned up can you try and ring him?"

"Hello, ok"

"Thanks speak to you later bye"

"Bye"

I grabbed the coffee and went back to Frank, the coffee here isn't as good as starbucks, I am going to get a starbucks next time.

Frank:

I am getting worried for Gerard he looks worried because of Mikey, I have been trying to comfort him all afternoon but he has been really worried because he has text Mikey loads of times today but he hasn't been replying. "Gerard, baby it will be ok he is probably busy or knowing him lost his phone or summin'" I said wrapping my good arm round his waist tugging him into a hug.

We pulled apart then I grabbed a straw to put in my coffee taking a couple of sips then putting my coffee down I looked at Gerard as he has a worried look forming on his face so I pulled him into a hug again giving him a kiss on his forehead .

I felt Gerard's phone vibrate in his pocket as he took it out and opened the text.

"Hey Gerard I have found out where he is I am on my way to get him, he found his phone in the dark and text me."

"Hello ok thanks where is he?"

"He was shoved in his own locker"

"OMG ok thanks text me again when you get to him bye"

"Bye"

Gerard put down his phone then put his head in the crook of my neck giving out a sigh of relief. I wrapped my arm around him tighter then kissed his hair "told you he'd be ok" I said sarcastically. Gerard lifted his head up "shut up" he said joking nudging me slightly.

A nurse came in again "hello, your release date has been moved forward to tomorrow" the nurse said giving me a half smile then walking out again. "Well I am glad we can go home again" Gerard said with a smile before planting a kiss on my lips and pulling away holding my hand and sitting on the chair next to my bed again. I shut my eyes and rested my head against my pillow feeling warm lips on my forehead "goodnight Fwankie" Gerard said and I soon fell asleep.

Mikey:

I heard footsteps from outside my locker "Ella?" I shouted there was no reply then the footstep seemed to turn into a run "Ella?" I shouted again. "I am here which one is your lock........oh" she said running towards my locker, "what is your combination?", "it's 7302" I said as I heard the clicks and my locker door flung open reveling a worried looking Ella. I jumped out and gave her a tight hug, it is now like three hours since school finished so I have been in my locker all day eating skittles that I put in my pocket earlier on this morning. "Hello I didn't think I would ever get out" I said "thanks", "no problem lets get you home and watch a movie" she said pulling away from the hug and holding my hand starting to walk.

We got in the car and I put on the radio. "So how as your day today I know mine was crap but what about you?" I said trying to build a conversation "it was alright pretty boring though, where did you find your phone?" she said "oh I found it at the back of my locker behind my gym bag, I am so sorry we couldn't meet at lunch" I said with a pout. "It's ok it wasn't your fault we need to plan a revenge" "yeh". "Are you ok you look uncomfortable?" Ella said to me placing a hand on my thigh. "I'm ok I think my nose really hurts and my stomach hurts and I've got a headache but apart from that I am ok" I said forcing a smile onto my lips. " Do you want to go and see Frank at the hospital Gerard text me that he is coming out tomorrow because he is recovering pretty quick?" "ok can we stop at starbucks on the way 'cos i know Gerard is longing for some decent coffee" I said laughing to myself "sure".

Gerard:

"There on there way here now to see you and they have got a surprise" I said giving Frank a hug and making sure not to crush him or hurt him "love you more than anything in the world Fwankie" I said giving him a gentle kiss on the lips. "Love you too Gee, hey I just remembered....." Frank replied trailing off into the unknown "you know what Fwankie?" I asked getting more and more curious as the seconds passed. "It's my fuckin' birthday in two weeks I think, what is the date today?" Frank asked staring at a blank wall, "it's the 2nd of September, why when is your birthday?" I asked wondering why I didn't know that by now "my birthday is on Halloween" he said with a slight tone of excitement.

Me and Frank decided to cuddle up on the bed for a while when Mikey and Ella decided to barge in with "OMG!" I shouted before running up to them both and giving them a hug "you got us freakin' starbucks!" I yelled before giving them another huge hug and running back to Franks bed holding to cups of steaming coffee with cream and chocolate on top. "Ha, you've got a cream mustache" Mikey laughed before handing me a napkin. 

Mikey and Ella left shortly after we finished our coffee and ate some posh starbucks biscuits "well I think we should get some rest, we have a busy day ahead of us tomorrow" I said before snuggling up next to Frank and falling asleep looking forward to the next day.......Don't worry about the past just think about the future.
