Oh my lord, the Shine Forever MV is so good. Visuals right there no joke. The MV was like just released one hour ago :0 But I decided to write this theory the next day lmao.
But let me fangirl. I love Jooheon's hair, Wonho's, Kihyun's fml, I lover everybody's hair color. THey are LITERALLY THE VISUALS. STUFF MONSTAX, VISUALX! I want to learn Shine Forever on the piano but there are no sheets for it yet. I might as well wait next month for the sheet.
Anyways, back to my sucky theories. The questions that just got me messed up was.
Why is Kihyun blindfolded?
He is literally blind. If you read my recent chapters 'Save the Clan'. I am highly convinced it's the third option.
First mainly because when I said to save people who are going to abandon their youth/innocence, I literally meant save everyone. But the third option talks about the 'X-Clan'. It's more convincing because X-Clan only includes them and no one else.
Anyways, back to my point....
I think this MV is all about their friendship and themselves. (No more youth and drug (: )
Kihyun is blinded because he is blind.
At the start of the MV, they travel somewhere far away in a van. It's evident because there are trees everywhere and no sign of humans anywhere or livestock (farms). All the members are sitting in the van together with it being peaceful. If you notice the seating, Minhyuk is at the back of the van. This information is very important.

Now back to the MV, the one driving is Shownu and later in the scenes, you see Kihyun blindfolded. He is still blinded because he is blind but wait, this is before the ending scene.
Later, you see a scene when the car comes flying out of the cliff and with glasses

This scene means that the there is conflict. Minhyuk literally misdriven that led to Kihyun being blinded. Minhyuk is taking Kihyun out of the car and realizes that he is severely injured. He just stares at his hands and feels guilt for hurting him. He then turns away and leaves him on the ground and goes to his car.
