Settled

My eyes are open to a shiny new day
He is right beside me,
Dreaming, far far away.

Oh look at that innocent face
Eyes closed and mouth slightly open
A scene you just want to embrace.

I just keep looking at him
Absorbing his sweet figurine
I look up to see his lazy grin.

His soul is happy
I can see it from inside his eyes
Bright shining with joy
And the soul never lies.

He smiles at me
Sleepy and comfortable
I feel the whole world is not that horrible.

I smile back
I can feel my eyes twinkle
Heart is healed from every crack.

I found myself whispering to him
I love you
I was surprised by the echo of his voice
Whispering the same thing.

How did I miss this beauty
How was I going to give it away
Keeping it safe and alive is my duty.

We both grinned at each other
None of us expected that echo
We both made a silent vow
That we will always stay together.

I touched his cheek with my fingers
He leaned his head closer
His eyes sweet and tender.

He got up and hugged me tight
I hid myself in his embrace,
this is so right
He is my safeplace, he is my light.

The light of my soul and heart
Shining from inside both of us, like a masterpiece of art
Yes, he is that much beautiful and smart.

I look at him, his whole self is beating with love
It makes my mood rise up and above
All the obstacles are no longer stealing my happiness.

I just learned that
Satisfaction comes from forgiveness
Forgive yourself first, then your life will be painless.

I am satisfied
Now I haven't lied
Even to myself.

I do love this man
Like I've never done before
And he loves me back, that's for sure.

Even if I loved someone else
At some point I thought he was all my wealth
It wasn't meant for me to live that life
Being another woman's villain will take away my health
Both physical and emotional.

When I look at what I have
A loving piece of heaven
How could I ever starve.

I feel more settled now
Being in my man's arms
I will never feel unsafe anyhow.

He loves me
He adores me
He values me
Thats how any perfect lover is meant to be.

I am now absolutely faithful
To my man
His arms are my homeland
He is very beautiful
He is my soul, my heart, my breath
Any other place would be hellish awful.
