Last Time, On 'The Desired Blue Queen' :
"You are my Queen."
This Time, On 'The Desired Blue Queen' :
"I'm not a Queen! I told you, I'm not. You've got the wrong person.", I said, trying to change his mind. He sound crazy. "I barely even know you!", I yelled. He squeezed me in his arms. "I know you are a Queen. And you will be my Queen, as soon as that blue aura leaves your body. The minute it does, the Red aura will consume you.", he whispered in my ear, loosening his grip again. "You're crazy!", I yelled pulling at his arms. "Let me go!". He let go of me, me stumbling forward, then swiftly catching my balance. I turned toward him, to see him gone. I was confused. What just happened? I felt like I was tearing apart at the seems. I continued to walk home, half wishing he had stayed with me, the other half, hoping he doesn't come back. As I neared my house, I instinctively was about to grab my phone, until my hand rested on the pocket. Before I could tell myself it wasn't in there, and was still in the HOMRA bar, I felt the cool, plastic casing of the device. Mikoto must've put in there, when he was behind me. I smiled. I didn't have to return to the bar. But, something was nagging at me, telling me that I wanted to. I guess, maybe I can go back tomorrow? Wait, what am I thinking!? I'm not going back to him! He's crazy! I'm not a Queen! Ugh! Anyway. As I neared my house, I could see someone sitting at the step. As I walked closer, the moonlight shone on them, and I saw that it was Reisi. He was asleep. I guess he fell asleep, waiting for me. I snapped in front of his face. He jumped, mid-snore. I laughed. His eyes widened, and he looked at me. "Hi, um, uh-", he started. "Why are you here?", I asked, cutting him off. He stood up, and pushed up his glasses, seeming to get himself together. :I came here tonight, to check if you were alright.", he said, fixing his voice, to make sure it wasn't high-pitched and stuttering. I nodded. "I'm fine. But, what were you doing out here for so long?", I asked, curious. "I-I", he stopped himself. "Look, I care about you, your my Queen, it's instinct, and I just wanted to make sure you were alright. And weren't mad at me, for earlier.", he said. I nodded, blushing a little bit. "Well, thank you for your concern, and I'm not mad at you, really. Mikoto is the one that told me he was my boyfriend. So, if anything, he's in the wrong.", as soon as I finished my sentence, he picked me up, and swung me around in a circle. I laughed. He set me down, and his cheeks turned pink. "I'm sorry, that was unprofessional of me.", he said, looking down. "It's fine. It was funny. Besides, no need to get professional. We can be friends, right? I mean, it's not that big of a deal.", I said. He smiled, then turned serious. "When a King has his Queen by his side, he is almost 10 times deadlier, and vulnerable. The King makes the decisions. The Queen, keeps him in line. That is the order of things.", he recited, as if he had said it, many, many times before. I sighed, heavily. "If I truly am this Queen, you speak of, how is it possible for me to be both of you guys' Queen?", I asked, curiosity seeping through my words. "Well, you see, you were my Queen, until Mikoto took a liking to you, and then when he asked if you wanted to be a part of HOMRA, if you were to except, then you would have been claimed as the Red Queen, instead. But, since I got there in time, taking your other hand, the Blue and Red, fought to claim your body. They clashed in the middle, and struck both Mikoto, and I, back. Both auras, now reside within you, surrounding you, until you choose one of us.", he explained. I nodded. "Would you like to come inside, I'm sure your freezing.", I said. "If it wouldn't bother you too much.", he said, hesitantly. "Not at all.", I said, shaking my head. I allowed him in, and he took a seat on my sofa. I made tea, and we talked for a while. As it neared 2:00 in the morning, we slowly drifted off to sleep, unknowingly cuddling with each other. I accidentally left a window open, so we snuggled into each other, for warmth.
I woke up, to the sun hitting my face, and cold air around me. I snuggled closer to my source of warmth, feeling it become tense. I opened my eyes, to see myself snuggling up to Reisi. I pulled away slowly. He let out a shaky breath. His cheeks were a bright red. I laughed. His eyes widened, his cheeks becoming redder. I laughed some more. I got up, and walked into the kitchen. I rinsed the coffee pot, starting a new pot of coffee. He sat up and yawned cheeks still red. He walked towards me. I was getting a new coffee filter, and putting the grounds into it. He walked up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. He put his chin on my collarbone. "You're acting like Fushimi.", I said, laughing. This seemed to sour his mood. "What?", I asked him. He pulled away. I turned around, having finished the coffee. I placed my hand on either side of the counter, behind me, leaning my back on the counter. "He's your boyfriend.", he said, making me laugh. "I thought Izumo told you", he looked me. "I wasn't actually dating Fushimi. He's my best friend. I'm single, always have been, always will be.", I said. He took my hands, pinning them behind me, onto the counter. He closed the space between our bodies, putting himself in front of me. "Are you sure?", he said, in a deep, seductive tone. I laughed. I pushed my body closer to him, challenging, and teasing him. "I'm sure.", I said even more seductively. His eyes widened, and he pulled away, red faced, and covered his mouth. I laughed. "I don't give in, to intimidation.", I said. He collected himself, still red-faced, though. As he noticed I was watching him from the counter, he spoke up, "What?". "Nothing. Just that you're so easily flustered.", I responded. "What!? No I'm not!", he denied. "Oh? Well then, maybe it's just around me?", I said, teasing him. "That's only natural! I'm supposed to be attracted to you. You are my Queen, after all.", he protested. "Okay. Call it what you want. But I think, that you might have a soft spot for me.", I said, teasing him again. "What!? I totally do not!", he denied again. "Mhm. Then you won't care if I do...this?", I said, walking up to him, and placing a sweet kiss on his lips. Just as he was about to kiss back, I put my hand on his chest, and pulled away. His entire face gradually turned red, as my smirk got wider. I stepped back, and started laughing my ass off. He just looked away, and got more red. I wiped my tears away, from the laughter. He was never gonna live this down.
Reisi's POV
Her lips were sweet, and tasted like the tea, we had yesterday. I couldn't get my mind off of the feel of her lips on mine.
Y\N's POV
Unbeknownst to me, there was a certain someone walking up to my door, hoping to talk. Someone knocked on the door, the sounds bouncing off the walls. I went to get the door, asking Reisi to stay and watch the coffee. As I opened the door, I saw a certain, redheaded man, on the other side. I fully opened the door, waving, smiling bashfully, which I seemed to do a lot. "Hey? What's up?", I asked, trying to be nice. "I came to apologize for the way I treated you. And to ask, if, maybe, you wanted to go on a date. Like, at the theater, or something.", he asked, clearly trying not to sound, embarrassed. I laughed, cutely. "I'm sorry, I don't go on dates. And, I'm not interested in a relationship. I'm sorry, you took the time to come over here. If you're not busy, maybe you'd like to come in, for some coffee?", I asked, trying to be generous. He nodded, and walked inside. Reisi came out of the kitchen just as I shut the door. "Hey, Y\N, the coffee is done-", he cut himself off, seeing Mikoto inside. "What is he doing here?", Mikoto asked, jabbing hid thumb in the direction of Reisi. "Oh! Yesterday night, he came over to apologize, and I let him in. We talked and eventually fell asleep on the couch. We got up, and made coffee. And, that's pretty much it.", I said, leaving out the part where I kissed Reisi. He nodded, understanding. "What is he doing here?", Reisi asked. "Same reason as you.", I said. "Because you both, stupidly fell for me.", I laughed at my own joke while they looked at me, seriously. "What?", I asked. "Oh my God. You guys didn't actually fall for me, did you?", I asked. They both looked the opposite direction. "Wow. That's kind of a lot to take in. Two Kinds have fallen for me.", I just stared into space for a minute, then decided, "Anyways! So, coffee's done, I'll pour us some cups, you guys go ahead, and sit at the table." They both walked to my tiny, four person dining room. I grabbed three cups, from the cabinet, and was about to pour hot coffee into each, before I realized something. "Hey, how do you guys, like yourselves coffee?", I asked, over the counter top, in between the kitchen, and dining room. "Black.", Reisi said. "I'll have coffee milk.", Mikoto replied. I nodded getting out the sugar, and milk. I poured the sugar into two of the cups, then poured coffee into all three, only half filling the two with sugar. I grabbed the carton of milk, and poured it into the two, half-full, sugar, cups. I put away the supplies, throwing away the empty sugar bag, making note, to buy more later on. I walked over, and set the black coffee cup, in front of Reisi, and on of the coffee milk cups, in front of Mikoto, putting the other, in front of my seat. "I'll be right back you guys. I need to change.", I said, leaving the room. I changed into a pair of clean, black jeans, and another black, long sleeve, crop top. I walked back out of my room, with my laundry basket, putting it in the laundry room for later. I turned around, and jumped when I saw Mikoto standing in between me, and the only exit. "You have got to stop sneaking up on me, God damn.", I said, moving one of his arms, that had trapped me. He looked surprised. "Like I told Reisi, I don't give in, to any form of intimidation.", I said, confidently. I walked back into the dining room, grabbing my coffee, and walking back into the kitchen. I opened the fridge, and checked for what I needed. "Hey, anybody want an omelet?", I asked the boys. "Sure.", Mikoto said, walking up behind me. "What about you, Reisi?", I asked, looking over my shoulder, to look at him, but instead seeing Mikoto, right behind me. I craned my neck, around Mikoto, to see Reisi look up from his phone, at the table. "Yes, please, that sounds lovely. I didn't know you could cook, though.", he said, confused, and surprised. "I work in a cafe. Obviously I have to have some, experience with cooking breakfast, right?", I said, turning back to the fridge. I crouched down, pulling out the supplies. I walked to the other side of the kitchen, to pull out a pan. I turned back around, pan in hand, to see Mikoto in front of me. "Stop doing that! God, you're so weird.", I said, walking around him, to the stove. I preheated it, setting the pan aside, for now. I prepared all the vegetables, dicing them, and then putting the pan on the hot stove. I broke the eggs over it, heating it up, to solidify it. I rolled it on the pan, and flipped it a few times, making sure, all of it was even. I felt arms wrap around my waist. "Do you mind? I'm kinda busy.", I remarked, pretending to be annoyed. "I don't mind.", Mikoto said, cockily, from behind me. I couldn't help but laugh. I finished preparing the omelette, having thrown in some, bell peppers, tomatoes, onions, cheese, and some ham. I made three, putting them each on a plate, and putting some parsley next to each, making it look fancier. I set it down on the table, putting one of front of Reisi, the other, where Mikoto had sat previously, and one where I had sat. I grabbed my coffee from the counter, and sat down to breakfast. After breakfast I spoke up, "Guys, we need to talk. Come sit in the living room with me.", I headed to the living room sitting in the lounge chair, making them sit on the couch together. "So, about this Queen and King stuff. Explain it to me.", I demanded. After a very, very long explanation, both fighting over who got to tell me what. I nodded, understanding only half of what they said. I checked the time. "It's late, you guys should probably head out. I yawned. They nodded. I tried to stop my eyes from closing, so that I could watch them leave, but being up so late last night with Reisi, really caught up to me. As I dozed off, I heard them arguing.
Third Person
As Y\N dozed off, the boys started to argue over who should bring her to her room. Finally deciding that they would do it together, they decided Reisi will get her top half, and Mikoto her bottom. Mikoto grabbed her legs, Reisi grabbing her arms, the two boys, brought the young woman back to her bedroom. The bedroom had an ironically queen-sized mattress in the back left corner, with a dresser, and vanity sat atop, on the left wall. A walk-in closet, on the right wall. A footlocker on the far right wall.
On the wall closest to them, was a large TV, and art stuff surrounding it, including four easels. And a desk. They set her on the bed, gently, and walked over, to admire a sketchbook, set on top of a smaller, easel, on the desk. After admiring the girl's artwork, they started to head out, when they heard her say, "I love you-", and the rest was a mumble. Both of their eyes widened. Only one word went through the boys' minds. Who? They couldn't figure it out. It was either Mikoto, Reisi, Izumo, or Fushimi. Mikoto walked to her, caressing her cheek. Unexpectedly, she leaned into his touch. She reached out, delicately ghosting her fingers on his arm, until she yanked him down to her. She tucked her face, just under his chin. His face started to heat up, him fighting it back down. She kissed his jaw, and this time he couldn't force back down the blush that spread across his cheeks. Reisi watched this with wide eyes. As Y\N pulled her lips away, she stuck her face back in the safety of his neck. All Mikoto could think, was I wonder where this is coming from? She mumbled something, but all Mikoto could think about was the lips moving on his neck, as she spoke. She put her hands on his chest. His breathing was uneven. She laid there, motionless. As he was pulling away, to stand up, she grabbed handfuls of his shirt, making him stay. She pulled him down, until he was hovering, just above the sleeping female. She moved her arms to his waist and pulled him down next to her. He peeled her arms off of him, and slowly got out of the bed. When he got off all the way, without her pulling him back down, he let out a breath, he didn't know that he was still holding. The two boys left the apartment, to return to the safety of their own homes. One, left with jealousy spilling from his mind, the other, contentment. As Reisi got to his bedroom in the Scepter 4 base, he slammed his door shut. Then, he noticed Seri sitting on his bed, with a face that said she expected answers. "Where were you.", she said as more of a demand than a question. "It doesn't matter. We don't bring personal business to work.", he said, trying to avoid the question by staying professional. "If you were with the Queen, then it does matter, and does have to do with business.", she said, matter-of-factly. He sighed. "I was. But that is all you need to know. You may take your leave.", he said. She nodded, stood, and left. The Blue King, now alone, sat down on his bed, with a huff. What was he to do, if you already loved another man? What if that man broke up with you, and broke your heart? His heart ached at the thought of your crying face. He laid down, thinking about your laughing and smiling face, to lure him to sleep. Then, the thought of you kissing him came back to mind, and he turned red as a tomato, stuffing his heated face, into his pillow. He soon, drifted off to sleep.
