He stormed into the store, gaining everyone's attention.
"You son of a bitch!" he shouted, throwing a quick punch at Mikoto.
"What the-" Mikoto started, but stepped back dodging the punch.
I jumped in, grabbing Reisi's arm and pulling him back.
"It was some stupid drunken act, Reisi, stop!" I shouted, wincing, and letting go of his arm to grip my head.
Reisi turned to me, grabbing my shoulders.
I pushed him off, continuing.
"Besides, it's not like we had sex..." I trailed off, turning to Mikoto for confirmation.
"We didn't." he muttered, looking back to Anna and picking up a a grocery bag full of clothing. He grabbed Anna's hand with his other, and looked to Reisi and I.
He gave Reisi a stern glare, and started to walk passed me. He leaned down, and whispered, "I need to talk to you," before backing up and exiting the shop.
"Reisi started toward them, but I put my hand on his chest, pushing him back.
"Reisi calm down, this isn't like you. You're usually so calm and collected." I soothed, taking his shoulders and gently massaging them.
"Nothing is taking me from you, I just needed some comfort at the time, okay?" I slipped my hands under his coat continuing to massage his shoulders.
He was taking deep breaths with his eyes closed.
"Hey, I'm afraid you'll have to either buy something, or leave." a store clerk told us, giving us a polite smile.
I nodded to him, smiling back, and taking Reisi outside.
We walked home, and the entire way, he was silent, watching the concrete under our feet.
As we got to Scepter 4, he grabbed my hand. "Stay the night with me." he said abruptly, looking up and into his eyes.
I smiled softly, nodding slowly.
We reached his room, he was sitting on the edge of his bed, looking out the window.
I climbed over to his side of the bed, on my knees behind him, I took off his glasses, placing them on his bedside table.
I took off his coat, laying it beside us on the bed. He loosened his tie, taking a deep breath.
I placed by thumbs below his shoulder blades, working away at the knots.
After a while of me kneading away at the knots on his back and neck, he turned around, and placed a hand on my face.
He stroked my cheek with his thumb.
"You've messed with my emotions so much." he mumbled, studying my face.
"I'm sorry, it's not like I was trying to-" he stopped me, placing his thumb on my lips.
I brought my hands up, pulling his away from my face. He slowly leant closer to my face, staring into my eyes.
My eyes fluttered shut, I stayed still, lips parted.
Finally, as I could feel his lips brush against mine, there was a knock on the door. I jolted, my heart thumping.
He pulled away slowly, picking up his glasses, and heading to the door.
I looked out the glass window, watching the sun set. I brought my hand up to my face to feel my burning cheeks.
I finally tuned back to reality to heart the door shut.
"I'm sorry Y\N, there's something I must take care of." he mumbled, frustrated. He ran a hand through his hair, grabbing his sword.
I grabbed his hand, looking him in the eyes.
"Is everything okay? Did something happen?" I asked, getting go of his hand.
"A King has gotten out of hand, and they have to send me in, I have to go," he told me, grabbing his coat.
"Wait, can't they send someone else in? You said there were other King's! Why can't they go? What about Mikoto?" I franticly asked, grabbing his shoulders, desperately trying to convince him to stay.
"Mikoto is unstable, both as a person, and a King. And we don't exactly have many options." he muttered, grabbing more gear.
"Wait! You can't just-!" I started, but he cut me off, turning and glaring in my eyes.
"What? I can't just lead you on and then leave?" he pushed. We stood there for several minutes in silence.
I looked down, at a loss for words, before I looked back over the past week.
"I was pressured into deciding between two attractive men. You guys were both all over me, that's not my fault! Anyone would've cracked under this pressure! You can't just expect me to be all fine and dandy with all of this! It's crazy!" I exclaimed, throwing up my hands.
He turned around with a grunt, heading for the door. I quickly grabbed his arm, looking down at the floor once again.
"Be careful, I'll be waiting." I told him, releasing my grip on his arm, I took a step back.
"I will," was all he said before he opened the door, and slammed it behind him.
I flopped to the bed in defeat.
All I could do now was wait. Wait for him to get back. Wait for him to forgive me. And wait for a way to fix my mistakes.
But maybe I didn't have to wait alone.
One foot in front of the other. Every step made my body feel heavier. Every step made me regret this decision. Why would I go to see him after the argument I had with Reisi?
This is stupid. I shouldn't be doing this.
I gripped the handle, and opened the door slowly before I could hear my name called.
"Y\N! Hey, I didn't think you'd be coming back here after yesterday! And at this late hour! What brings you here?"
I looked up to the tall blond with purple glasses.
I gave him a small, nervous smile, before stepping into the establishment. The cool air conditioning hit my face as soon as I entered.
"Y\N. You came."
I looked over to the one who addressed me, to find the muscular, redheaded man I was looking for.
I waved slightly, as he gestured me to sit on the couch with him.
