Officer Charles along with other members of the NYPD stood outside the door of the abandoned house. The place was surrounded. There was nowhere for anyone inside to run. The girl had called Officer Charles and told him that she saw a street sign next to the mailbox. She only got a glimpse, but it was enough. Officer Charles kicked the front door out of place as it swung open. The rest of police officers and SWAT officers piled in. The entire house was an open complete except for the kitchen.
In the middle of the living was the five missing teens tied together in chairs. They all had bandanas tied around their eyes. They all shook in fear. Officer Charles walked over as he put his gun away. "You're all safe now, okay? I'm Officer Charles of the NYPD and you're safe. I promise." They all spoke and sighed in relief. Some other officers helped untied the terrified teens. The rest were searching the area.
"Officer Charles, can you come over here?" He stood up and left the teens with the other officers. He walked into the kitchen where he was called to. The SWAT officers stood around a floor panel that had been lifted from the ground. One of the officers looked up at him. "They've gone for a while and since only five kids were found, that means..."
"They took the girl that was giving us those clues and leads."
