II. Green

It's the color of a soccer game in the early morning.

It's the feeling of dew on the grass in early April, the spring air so fresh on your bare feet.

It's the color of your mother's love, unrelenting and gentle...natural.

It's the feeling of a new start after a hard stretch of life.

It's the stain on the pant-leg of a small child after a day of playing in the back yard.

It's the color that reminds a mother of her son who passed all too soon.

It's the color the mother sees when she notices another mother with their son, so blind to her gift of a healthy child.
