I was putting on my jacket and was brushing my long brown hair with white tips into a ponytail. When I was done my father came in "Hey champ come on breakfast!" my father said I nodded and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen "hey (y/n)!" said Layla I looked at the her direction and she was smiling cheerfully. "Hey Layla". I said to her happily, I mean she's so nice even though she know what I'm capable of. "Here (n/n) your food". mom said kissing my head and passing my food. I was eating my food while the rest came in. Then the phone rang and dad answer and found out there was trouble in downtown. "Aw and I wanted to see Will and (n/n) off to the bus". mom said sadly. Then she started talking to Layla about the kiddie pool which me and Will yelled "MOM!" and she responded with sorry and kissed our cheek then left when dad called her. Once they were out of sight I then got up and washed my plate and put it away. Layla waved her hand over the plants and brought them back to life while Will jumped on the counter and turned on the T.V. to the news talking about mom and dad saved the citizen against a robot.

~ Timeskip to school~

So we just got embarrassed by the bus driver named Ron because he talked about our parents. When we got to sky high and met our old friend Zach and he said he was going to show us his power when all of us do, we walked to the front. When we were near the stair someone was circling us really fast. I raised my arm out slowly to stop him then Will grabbed my arm and he shooked his head. I let a low growl and put my arm down. "Hey freshman!" said the big dude "Your attention please" he continued while another the dude next to him stretch? His way next to him "I'm Lash this is Speed".. patting the guy next him shoulder"and as part of the Sky High welcoming committee". Lash said then speed finished "We'd like to collect that $15 student fee" and Lash extended his arm towards me and I saw he was looking me up and down to which I changed me eyes to my Bijuu. Then he cowardly put his hand away with a little scream. Will smiled and we high fived while the other two were pushed away by this pink looking girl. She then stopped in front of us and Will was looking at her dumbstruck with a little drool falling and I felt mad because I knew Layla loved him and she looked heartbroken.

~ Inside the Gym ~

We stayed bundled up in the gym waiting for someone and suddenly a bright white light hovered over us turned into a woman at the podium. "Goodmorning, I am principal powers and on behalf of the faculty and staff I welcome you to Sky High". she said and Zach yelled "yeah!" She looked at him with her arms crossed and an unimpressed look on her face. "In a few moments you will be going through power placement".. and Will questioned it and a new friend of our named Ethan explained sidekick or hero support which Magenta and Layla adding some comments. The principle then left and Coach Boomer came in and was saying he didn't want no Winner babies. He them picked a kid named Larry and it continued from there.

~ Mini Timeskip ~

I was dozing off but was snapped out when Layla was refusing to show her powers and only using it when the situation demands it which earned her a loud "sidekick!" from Boomer. He looked around us and stopped at me "You!" He point at me and the bell rang. "Alright after lunch will start with you Mrs. Stronghold". He said and we left. I was walking behind Layla holding my lunch. We sat down where a dude behind Will and Layla side was glaring at Will.
