Ch. 1

PERCY'S P.O.V.

I was awoken by an ear-splitting scream, at around 1 a.m.. I immediately knew who it was and ran (barefoot) to Cabin 6. When I got there I barged in and ran to Annabeth's side, she was shaking and screaming and tears were streaming down her face, but she was still asleep. I tried to soothe her as best as I could.

"We're alive, Wise Girl. We aren't there anymore, we're at camp, everything is ok." I said. 

She opened her eyes and when she saw me, she hugged me tight and continued to cry in the crook of my neck, I kissed the top of her head and lifted her in my arms, bridal style.  

"Let's go back to my cabin, you can sleep with me tonight, ok?" I said, not really asking as I was already walking.

When we were in my cabin I sat down, she was sitting on my lap, not crying anymore, but still hugging me so tight it seemed as if she was afraid I'd vanish.

"Shhh... it's ok... do you want to tell me what happened?" 

"Y-y-you... you were... being tortured, Percy. It was... it was my fault... Then it changed... w-we were back... there, and y-you stayed and I-I le-left and saw you d-d-die". She started crying again, and I wrapped my arms around her as well.

"It's ok... I'm good and so are you. I love you and I'm never losing you again, ok? You are my Wise Girl, remember?" 

She sniffed and said "And you're my Seaweed Brain." 

We slid under the covers of my bed and cuddled into a dreamless sleep. 

<TIME SKIP TO THE NEXT MORNING>

I was awoken by someone shaking me this time.

"Five more minutes"

"Seaweed Brain, it's 8:30 let me go! Plus, we're going to miss breakfast".

That did it and I was fully awake and craving some blue waffles. After brushing my teeth and kissing Annabeth goodbye I took a shower and changed into some shorts and a camp tee.

I went to the dining pavilion and sat down in the Poseidon table, Grover sat down next to me and began to tell me about how he was going to propose to Juniper. I was really happy for them, they had helped a lot a month ago with the war against Gaea. We saw Annabeth walk in, she was talking to Thalia... Wait. What? Chiron banged his hoof and we were all quiet.

"Children, as you can see the Hunters are here, so we are going to to host the traditional Capture the Flag against them, tonight." We all cheered until Chiron banged his hoof again, " On the other side, the seven, Nico, Reyna and Thalia, should be ready in two hours, you're going to Olympus."

"Why?" asked Leo who had returned with Calypso, from Ogygia.

"You'll see once you arrive, and I'm sorry, but you'll miss the game tonight". At this everyone started booing and complaining. Chiron banged his hoof, and everyone knew that it meant that he expected us to shut up and continue eating.

<TIME SKIP TO OLYMPUS> 

We had gotten to Olympus, finally might I add, the car ride was incredibly long and the elevator had been seriously cramped. 

"You did an amazing job, Miss Chase", said Reyna, her voice full of awe and mock.

"You really did, Wise Girl." I said.

"Thanks" said Annabeth hurriedly.

When we got there I was amazed. The thrones were the same, but the room was totally changed and was amaZHANG. It had white columns that were immense and seriously tall, the ceiling was a crystal-clear dome with grayish borders, the floor was a pale color, between blue and white and was matte so it didn't shine but was quite noticeable. 

Everyone was shocked.

"This is gorgeous, Annabeth". I said, she smiled, looking pleased with my comment and took my hand, giving it a light squeeze. 

"Hello, Dad", said Jason, until then I noticed Zeus's form was flickering between Greek and Roman, "stay Greek".

"Hey Dad!" I said waving at my dad who was smiling at me.

"Hi son! How a-" Poseidon was interrupted by Zeus who apparently expected us to bow. The others did, Annabeth and I didn't and we both stared Zeus down. 

"We called you here, to grant you wishes." said Hera.

After everyone but Annabeth and I had passed they finally called Annabeth

" Annabeth Chase" 

" Mother." Annabeth said with clear resentment in her voice.

"What do you wish for?"

"I want Daedalus's computer."

"Is that it? Are you not going to use your second wish? Did Hera not mention you get two?" 

"No, she didn't. OK, I want your approval of my relationship with Percy, because he's my boyfriend and I love him beyond compare". 

"Fine." Athena reluctantly snapped her fingers and Annabeth was holding the computer.

"Percy, my boy." 

"I wa-", I was interrupted by Zeus.

"Percy. We wish to offer you godhood", he said, and everyone was quiet.

"Oh...um, I am very psyched but no thanks, I have a life to live, time to waste and monsters to kill, so no", My dad smiled at me like he  knew I would say what I said.

"Fine, boy. We will all bless you then". I passed in front each of them, they all muttered something before I walked to the next god or goddess and then repeated that process. Then I went back to where my friends were and noticed that I had a throbbing pain in my head, also the gods were all still chanting under their breaths.

" I have given you access to fly, you can either control the winds or by any flying machine, completely safe."

" I have given you power to shapeshift into any sea creature you want to be, also you now have the title "King of the Ocean"", said my dad, I groaned.

" Does that mean now every horse or fish will call me that?", I asked.

My dad chuckled, "Not if you don't want them to". I sighed in relief.

"I have given you power over ghosts, they fear you and respect you", said Hades in a low voice.

" I have improved your skill with the bow and arrow", said Artemis.

"I have made you more handsome and taller!", squealed Aphrodite. 

After everyone had announced what blessing they had given me, we each spoke to our parents for about 30 minutes. We arrived at camp and went to our cabins and I, for one, fell asleep immediately.
