I was staying at the Burrow and we were all eating breakfast. Mrs. Weasley had made bacon and pancakes, which were amazing.

"Morning mate", said Ron who had just woken up and come downstairs.

"Morning", I replied.

After the war Ron and Hermione had gotten back together. I had some hopes with getting together again with Ginny, but never acted upon it. I watched as Ron sat next to Hermione and pecked her cheek.

"Ron, we were planning on going to buy my supplies for school, today. Harry and Hermione are coming, are you?", asked Ginny, who had gotten her letter two days ago. Ron nodded as he ate in a way I had only seen Ron eat like.

"Har-", Mr. Weasley was interrupted by three owls swooping in through the window and landing on the table. Everyone watched as they deposited three envelopes and then flew out of the same window they come through. Hermione picked them all up and handed one to Ron and then one to me. Mine read:

Dear Mr. Potter,

It is our pleasure to invite you back to Hogwarts to do your seventh year, since due to last year's war you weren't able to take it. If you will be attending, send an owl by July 27th.

This year we will be having exchange students from America, they are all very nice, but have gone through the same or even more than us, please do not anger them in any way. The wizarding world in America is a bit different from ours, please have patience with them and be as welcoming as you can.

Truly yours,

Headmistress McGonagall.

I looked at my friends and saw that Ron was still reading. When he finished he said, " Yessss!!!!! We're going back to Hogwarts!", he was clearly very excited, honestly we all were. Hermione and I laughed and nodded .

" So, new students, huh?", I wondered out loud.

" I hope they're nice. But, what have they gone through that is more that what we ever did?", asked Hermione.

"Yeah... Hey! We need to buy stuff too then!", said Ron, as if he had just realized so.

I looked around for Mr. Weasley, who had been trying to tell me something before the letters came, but he had left.  I also noticed that Mrs. Weasley didn't look as preoccupied as she had other years when the letters came. It probably had something to do with the reward the Weasleys had gotten from the Ministry of Magic, then had been given a lot of money. We all finished eating and left for Diagon Alley.

"We'll have to go to the bank first, that we can do together. Then we can separate, Ginny can come with us," she pointed at herself and Mr. Weasley," and you three can meet us at George's shop in three hours, ok?", commanded Mrs. Weasley.

"That sounds good.", replied Hermione. We all went to Gringotts and then separated, just as Mrs. Weasley had said. "We should go to Flourish and Blotts first, then to Ollivander's", said Hermione.

"Why go to Ollivander's?", I asked.

"To go see Mr. Ollivander of course!".

"Why would we want to see him?", asked a confused Ron. I nodded, being as confused about it as Ron was.

"The war, obviously! We weren't the only ones affected, you know?".

"Oh, right...ok", I said shyly. Sometimes I needed to  be reminded of that, it helped me stay humble.

We went to Flourish and Blotts and got the books we needed. I noticed we didn't need any books for Defense Against the Dark Arts. Weird. Next we went to Ollivander's and saw a lot of kids who looked between 15 to 19. They all emitted a powerful aura and looked lean, most of the guys were tall and muscular.

¨Oh my gods, Seaweed Brain?!? Annabeth?!?¨, squealed a familiar voice. The all turned to look at us, and Ron, Hermione and I, revealing a grinning Luna.

"Luna?!?!" asked the tallest, most fit guy I'd ever seen. He  had jet black hair, it was messy like mine, and sea green eyes, that for some reason looked broken, like as if they'd seen enough horrors to last several lifetimes.

"Percy! What are you doing here?", asked Luna.

The Percy guy and a blonde girl, who I guessed was Annabeth, ran towards Luna and hugged her tightly. They finally let go of her and started talking in hushed voices.
