He was hitting me over and over again. I knew I was overpowered.
So I just sat there, feeling every blow.
He mocked me, screaching me the "I told you so" speach I could only hear. My head was spinning from every word.
He did tell me so. Not to put so much trust in people.
But I made this mistake, over and over again.
He was relentless. He wasn't holding back.
I didn't mind though. I deserved this punishment.
I finally got up, making my final decision.
I'm saying goodbye to my good side.
The people I used to care for would be nothing to me from now on.
Sorry.
I hate to do it, but I have to. And the thing is, I'm looking forward to it.
I'll give up on every single one of them. The innocent and the guilty.
I finally learned my lesson.
It's a cruel world.
