chapter 4

I entered home and found Isabella cooking some cupcakes.
Oh yeah.. that's what I needed.
"Hey, how is my beautiful auntiee?" I said with a cheesy tone.
"Uuuh, someone's got a great day huh?" She said with a wide smile.
"Yes,ahahaha, school went better than I thought." I said grabbing a cupcakes on the counter.
"Really? I'm so happy chloe, by the way your sister called, she said everything it's beautiful and is very happy" i was really proud and happy to hear such thing, my eyes started watering, I loved her too much and I already missed her.
I shove the tears away and I said "that's great, I'm so happy for her!"
"Yeah, I'm really happy too... Oh right before I forget, Tonight we have a dinner with the Davis, it's my best friend and she wanted to meet you, she has two boys, Blake and... I cut her off.
Yeah yeah Cole I said with a silly smile...
Oh you know him? Isabella said surprised.
"Uhm yeah I met him today at school." I said nonchalant.
"That's great " she squirmed and clapped her hands.
I laughed at her enthusiasm.
I quickly returned serious and said "wait I don't have nothing to wear,I know it's going to be some fancy thing" I said with worry.
Isabella thought a moment and a devilish smile appeared on her face.
"Don't worry honey , I got the perfect dress for you, don't worry about that, just relax the dinner is at 7 p.m. so start get ready you have one hour."
I went upstairs and took the longest bath, i loved baths or showers, I always relaxed there and think about everything just made me less stressed.
When i finished i grabbed my purse with the makeup.
I put on foundation, some mascara and i did my best with the Eyeliner,I finished with red hot lipstick and had 20 minutes left.
I went out of the bathroom and found a beautiful dress on my bed, I was amazed about the beauty of that dress.
It was a long red hot dress that accentuated my thin waist, hugged my hips, and flared out a bit, it had a really plunging neckline but it hugged my body perfectly, I let my hands travel on the soft texture of the dress.
A pair of nude color heels layed on the floor, with a little card near.
It was written in a beautiful hand writing:
"Dear, Chloe, this was your mom's dress, it was the night she met your father, the night when they fell in love,I conserved it because your mother told me to, one day she said to me to give this dress to a special occasion at one of her daughters, I thought this was the right time.
Isabella"
I tried my best not cry, I never thought this dress would have this beautiful message, I was happy , this dress reminded me of my mum, she was stunning and I always admired her and now I looked the same as her I saw her same features on my face for the first time.
Someone knocked at the door and I rushed outside.
Isabella and Toby were waiting for me and when they saw me , their smiles grew Wild.
Isabella hugged me tightly and said whispering.
"I knew it was going to look stunning on you as it did with your mother, you're alike ahaha"she said putting away a tear carefully to not mess up her makeup.
she was very beautiful too with her long black dress, she looked like I princess and Toby was prettier than half of the guys at my school...
the ride at the restaurant was longer than I expected.
When we entered a women on her thirties, I guess, greeted me " oh god, you're stunning dear, you should be Chloe right?"
"Yes, miss Davis" I said politely blushing red for the compliment.
"Oh, call me Caroline" she said squeezing my hands.
"Sure" I said with a sincere smile.
"Oh Chloe, Cole was just talking about you, he went outside, go call him" a men on his forties told me with a huge grin.
"Hi Mr Davis, oh okay" I said turning around and i made my way outside as I spotted him.
I leaned behind him and with a smile i said "looking at something you like uh monkey?"
He turned his attention to me swiftly " reddie, you're here... Don't you look stunning "he said checking me out from tip to toe with a small smirk.
He was beautiful too, in his black tuxedo, his hair were perfectly jelled and looked so soft. I catched my breath difficulty.
"Awe thanks, I just woke up like this, I mean natural beauty duh" I said playfully waving my hands all over my body.
He just laughed and said " I didn't know red heads were more stupid than blondies, you caught me off guard"
"Heyy, I'm intelligent" i said in my defense.
"Sure you are, let's go inside" he grabbed my hand, but I shrugged it off when I saw the looks our parents was giving to us.
"Well, chloe, have you decided what you're going to do after high school yet?" Caroline asked me sweetly.
"Uhm,I want to try for a scholarship at Harvard like my sister did, I want to join her same direction"
"Oh that's really great" Cole's father said with a smile.
"Where is Blake?" My mom asked.
At that followed an embarrassed silence because nobody was looking at heachother and nobody was responding.
What the heck was going on?
"Uhm, i Guess he will join us... Later" Caroline said insecure.
Isabella looked at her with concern and squeezed her hand.
Well I wasn't understanding much and I looked at Cole's direction he was on his phone, texting someone...
"When you First met?" I asked Isabella and Caroline.
Toby and Chuck ( Cole's dad) rolled their eyes in unison.
Isabella and Caroline had a huge grin on their faces and started telling us their hole story.
At the beginning I acted like I was interested but then I just rest my head on Cole's shoulder and he did the same but on my head.
Toby and chuck tired ,stood up and said "well, let's go guys".
"I wanted to show something at Chloe first" Cole said immediately taking my hand on his.
"Well, you can stay, we're not young anymore" Toby said, trying to hide a small smile playing on his lips.
I watched them going away and I turned to Cole and said " what do you want to show me?"
He winked and grabbed my wrist "come with me".
