It's been a long day for both Karasuno's​ and Nekoma's volleyball team.

The team of crow's had gone to Nekoma's volleyball court for a practice match coach Ukia had spoken to Nekoma's​ coach after the match and asked to host the next practice at Karasuno.

Now everyone was tired as coach Ukia and Daichi spoke quietly, half the windows​ to the team bus were open letting in a cool breeze.

Tanaka and Noya both sat behind Asahi taking photos of him as he slept. No-one spoke to loud, nor too quiet everyone was doing their own thing whether it be talking sleeping or simply staring out the window (Tsuuki(not sure if it's spelt with 2 u's but yh)).

The drive was long and they still has another 2 hours on the road till they reached Karasuno unfortunately luck wasn't on their side as that bus hit a sharp turn causing one of the 4 tire's to pop fortunately they happened to be within walking distance of a motel.

"Right is everyone out" coach Ukia called looking over his team counting them as they passed only one was a no show.Even if the boy were a shrimp his hair is noticeably from a mile away.

"Suga, you and Daichi take the team to the main hall I'll be back with the shrimp"with a small yes coach suga lead the group of teens to their decided meet up location.

25 minutes later a breathless Ukia appeared in the lobby with the youngest​ crow on his back(I don't actually know if he's the youngest crow's but yh he is now😅😅).the moment he entered the building the orange haired crow was passed over to Kageyama who he was assigned sharing a room with.

The rooms were as followed:

Daichi and suga, (#1 & #2)

Asahi and Noya, (#3 & #4)

Tanaka and Ennoshita, (#5 & #6)

Narita and Kinoshita, (#7 & #8)

Kageyama and Hinata, (#9 & #10)

Tsukishima and Yamaguchi.(#11 & #12)

And of course Coach Ukia and Takeda.

After getting a brief summary of how the morning will go they all headed to their rooms.

Kageyama however had to struggle when opening the door as to not drop the sleeping boy on his back, but then come the real struggle of how he was gonna put hinata down without waking or hurting the small teen.

He had remembered how his mother would swing him around so that he was leaning on her stomach instead of her back but the question was could he risk trying it.

With a sigh placing he arms over hinata's back and slowly let the orange haired teen slip into his side the dark haired​ setter sighed again as he gently placed the younger​ on the bed closest to the window.

"Kageyama??..."hinata mumbled quietly as he caught said males hand their eyes locked dark blue looking into golden brown/hazel.they seemed to be begging he taller not to walk away.

So...

he didn't.

He let the small spiker pull him closer till they lay beside one another.

After a few minutes of silence the little sunshine was fast asleep his head resting on Kageyama's chest. Kageyama however was wide-awake his mind was blank but he couldn't sleep, his eyes just locking onto the younger's face.

He looked so vulnerable almost fragile​, the urge to protect him made its self known as he wrapped his arms around the younger's waist

"I won't let anyone hurt you... because with me... with me your invincible"

Those are the words the setter mustered before finally​ drifting off to sleep
