The key chain

Marco's POV

That night we fell asleep in the roof. Guess that there is no mosquitoes on muni because I had no itchy red bumps all over me.

Star using my arm as a pillow and had her hand on my chest. She still had my jacket. But it was fine I had my hoodie.
My hair jell was coming out and parts of my hair was falling down in my face.

I tried to move because I had to pee. You know how it is. But there was no way if getting away because I didn't want to wake Star. But sadly I think she is a light sleeper because she was waking up just from my rearranging my position.

"Mmmm." Star sat up and rubbed her eyes. Suddenly she was wide eyed like she just had a triple shot of expresso. I think she realized we where still on the roof. "How long as it been?" "I dont know. Didn't time work differently in muni?" "No not realy. Now let me see your watch." She grabbed my wrist and pulled back my cuff of my sleeve. "It's 8:04! I am late for my piano practice!"

She got up and headed for the sky light that I guess we used to get up here. "Wait you do piano? When did this happen?" I called after her. I stuck my head threw the window and looked at Star.

She tuned "about 3 years ago." She smiled and ran down the hall way.

I went down and looked at my hair in the bath room. It was a mess. Then I got thinking. Star's hair was flawless and it still was after spending a night on the roof.

After about 30 minutes of trying to get my hair to stay up i just takes it down. I looked like my old self but I was a bad boy not the safe kid. I have worked to hard to be what I am now. So I walked around the town to see if I could find any hair gel or something like that. Just anything to keep my hair up.

The AAM worse than Quest but. Yes I still remember that I still have nightmares about it too. There where story's but they where set up like boths all over 3 floors. There was no map and each shop had different thing from the last.

I came across on stand that caught my eye. It had a table covered with a ring with gems and trinkets on it. To the back of her both was a shelfs with stuff in jars. Like eyes, finger, lips, ears. Any body part you name it she had it. To the left of her stand was a rack with key chains on it. The one that catch my eye was a skeleton key chain. The skeleton reminded me of the day of the dead and the gem in the middle of the little guy's chest was a nice green emerald.

The rest was just weird. I mean shrunken heads isn't the best thing to put in the front of your store if you ask me.

"How much for the skeleton key Cain?"
A woman came to . She looked human than an Alina. "That will only count you soul." She smiled. WTF!!!! I need my soul. "Can I buy it with something else?" I dug in my pocket and pulled out $20. "Can I pay with this?" "NO!! Only souls" she pointed to a sight I didn't notice before. It read. Only payment of soul. No exchanges or refunds." Iocldnt read the tiny print at the bottom so I just left it. " only have one soul ma'am." "Then sucks for you." She disappeared behind a tarp in the back.

Hell no am I giving my souls for this key chain. Mmmm but I really want it. So I looked to my right and to my left. No one was looking. I I took it and shoved it in my pocket and walked on as if I did nothing.

Star's POV

My piano class is about 2 hours and week not including time to practice each day too. I am working on fer elice.
I glanced at the clock and I still had 1 hour left. I wonder what Marco is doing now.

Marco's POV

I got to the 3rd floor and still hadn't found hair gel. But I was determined to find the hair gel.

I started to walk and everything started to get blurry and suddenlyy the floor was coming tepees me and everything went black.

Star's POV

I invited Pony Head to go to the mall with me but when we got there. People where gathered around and royal guard Sealed off the mall. But once they realized we where princes the let he threw.

We had to slow up 3 flights of stairs just to get to where thing happened. But when I got there i didn't expect at all.

I saw Marco on the ground with doctors around him. I ran up. "What happened?" I cried. One of the doctors tuned to looks at me. "Looks like your friend here is cursed."
