(Yes, I am randomly putting titles of foods as a chapter title.)
I walked around the halls with a grin, skipping wildly to my class. "Mr. Energy." My attention snapped and I looked behind me to find a teacher I've met not long ago.
"Ah, Mr. Shion." I smiled as I walked towards him. "What's up?" I asked.
He smiled gently and looked at me seriously, "I heard that you got accepted over a Culinary Scholarship." He said, which made me flinch and immediately feel in my worst mood. "Yeah...." I answered as I put on a fake smile.
Mr. Shion smiled at my reaction, then he pulled out an envelope. "This a request from the head mistress." He said as he handed the envelope to me.
"Right," I said as I felt a twitch on my eye. 'Why do I get the feeling that he will manipulate me because of my scholarship....' I thought instantly.
Shaking the thought out of my head, I looked at the envelope to find my name neatly printed on one side. Taking it as a chance, I looked around me quickly and headed to the restroom.
Once I reached the nearest bathroom, I looked at every stall to see if it was empty. Sighing, I looked at the envelope and entered the last stall. Flipping it over and ripped the paper to reveal even more paper for me to read.
I read through the paper, not really caring what it said and found at the bottom saying If you agree, sign your name here.
Taking it as a chance to hurry up, I pulled out a pencil from my pocket and signed my name on the signature line. 'I'll give it to the mistress later.' I mentally reminded myself.
I walked out of the stalls and was heading to the exit. Once I turned the corner, I bumped against someone and I my nose felt not-so-normal. My hand reflexes itself to hold my nose, and I look up to find one person I didn't think I'd bum into.
"I-It's you..." His voice gave off a static sound with that mask over his mouth.
I forced a smile, "Hey.....Bad Boy right!" I said. The slight pink color of his cheeks radiated gently, or it might be his mask reflecting it's red color on his cheeks. He nodded at my--sort of--question. "Yeah. Stylish correct...?" He said, as if to confirm it. I smiled, still holding my nose, "the one and only."
"Are you alright?" He asked, his hand going towards my face and over my hand on my nose. Gently tugging my hand from my nose, and I willingly let him tug my hand away. I felt my cheeks heated up and wanted to look away. "You're bleeding..." His static voice echoed the bathroom.
I felt my face heat up even more, "I-I'm sure it's just a tiny scratch. I'll--" He took my wrist and dragged me out of the bathroom. "B-Bad B--" "We need to go to the infirmary." Bad Boy interrupted me.
Never did I think his hand felt so warm then.
We reached the infirmary--which wasn't really that far--and we entered the room, making the nurse flinch into a shock as he looked at the door. "He's bleeding from his nose...I m-might be at fault." Bad Boy announced.
The nurse paled as he saw us. Then it dawned on me......Bad Boy's announcement seemed a bit misunderstood. "B-Bad Boy...I don't thi-" He put his hand up to prevent me from talking any further, "Don't worry, I think Hiroki can take care of it. He's treated me plenty of times." Bad Boy smiled, making my worries drain in a whole.
"Bad Boy, what did you do to make the New Student get a nosebleed." The nurse asked, making me return to what he said before. I blushed like an utter idiot, making the nurse blush once he saw my reaction. Making it MORE awkward. I pulled my hand and waved it, "N-no! I-It's not what you think!" I stuttered.
The nurse sighed and looked at Bad Boy--who tilted his head in confusion--and gave him a small glare. "What?" Bad Boy shrugged.
The nurse sighed and nodded, "alright, tell me how this happened?" He asked.
I explained that I went to the restroom and finished my business and bumped into Bad Boy. Bad Boy came to the conclusion that I might've gotten cut by the metal chain he seems to wear. My attention went to his attire, it was my first time realizing that he had some type of choker with a medal chain attached to it like a leash. Except it wrapped around his arm instead of being in someone else's hand.
"Makes sense," The nurse said as he inspected my nose, "I see a little cut here." He said, "It might take a while, but put a band-aid over it and it'll heal over time." The nurse then looked over at Bad Boy, "And you, did you take your medication yet?" He asked.
Curious, I looked over at Bad Boy, his eyes shifting everywhere but the Nurse. "I....I uh...."
The nurse sighed, "You are a troublesome boy Bad Boy." The nurse turned and pulled out a bottles, by the sound of the rattle, it was medicine.
"I....I still don't do well with pills." Bad Boy insisted. I chuckled in response, earning a small glare from Bad Boy. "If you'd drink your medication like I ordered, you wouldn't be taking it."
"But-"
"No excuses, pill, water, drink. NOW" The nurse ordered.
Bad Boy tensed, taking the pill and glass of water from the Nurse's desk. He placed the glass down to use his hand for a different matter. My mind seemed hypnotized by this that I couldn't bring myself to look away.
Once he clipped the mask off, I blushed to find him quite attractive. He looked in my direction with a blush of his own and my eyes shifted somewhere else. "....sorry..." Bad Boy muttered.
"N-no, it's o-okay.....just......" I drifted off.
"Stop flirting and take the pill." The nurse ordered. I blushed and squirmed in my spot.
"..O-okay..." His voice wasn't static-like when he had the mask. It was deep and soft, almost like honey.
"Right, new student. You can leave now," The nurse said, handing me a band-aid. Separating the bandage, I placed it across the bridge of my nose, feeling it blanket over the cut nicely and gently.
I walked out of the room and headed to my next class. Completely dazed, and forever replaying his voice in my head.
'I have a problem...' I concluded.
(Sorry If it isn't much, but technically it's a story that doesn't have an ACTUAL plot, yet it does. Get me??
No??
I apologized, then hope you'd like to read again. ^^)
