Luke put down the small book and looked over at his boyfriend that was just sitting on the couch with his phone in his hand. Probably scrolling through Twitter.
Luke set the journal down and went over to the couch, sitting next to Ashton and pulling him over to sit on his lap.
Ashton squeaked in surprise and looked up at Luke with wide eyes.
"I love you too." Luke muttered, grabbing Ashton's cheeks gently and kissing him before he could respond.
"W-what?" Ashton mumbled when they pulled away slightly. His cheeks were a bright red as he looked at Luke in confusion at the random outburst.
But then the book laying on their bed caught his eye and he burned a brighter red.
"Y-you found it didn't you?" Ashton mumbled and played with the bottom of his shirt.
Luke's grip on Ashton's hips tightened as he nodded, smiling dopily as he looked at Ashton. He was so in love sometimes it hurt.
"Yeah." Luke muttered breathlessly, leaning forward to kiss Ashton again. "And no need to be embarrassed, it only made me fall in love with you even more." He mumbled against his lips.
Ashton smiled and giggled before leaning forward to kiss Luke, the force pushing them both backwards onto the couch.
They were definitely a pair of lovesick fools.
