Halloween

chapter one: EEK A SPIDER

Ryan's POV

"Are you sure about this Jon?" I ask as we're about to step in the forest, at 8:00 at night I might add. Jon answers,"Pssshhh! Of course its ok!" It's already dark and I'll totally FLIP OUT of the dark. Anyways, he says that the forest by his house on Halloween is supposed to be life-changing. In the most HORRIBLE way possible!

"I've heard rumors that when people escape, IF they escape, they never come out the same!" He says in a spooky voice. "But I'll be the judge of that!" "Eh. I guess. Cmon let's go already! I'm bored out of my mind!" Spence says. "Yeah! And don't worry ryan. If your scared, I'll protect you!" Brendon smiles at me. Damn that smile sure does the trick because I find myself walking with them into the forest. God why did I agree to this?

Spencer's POV

"Phew good thing we brought flashlights!" I say  as we all turn on our flashlights. We thought it would be scarier if we just walked without flashlights, but Ryan already walked into two trees twice so we kinda had no choice.

"Cmon guys talk to me! Help me distract me from the darkness!" Ryan whined. We all got into this conversation about whether a one-band called panic! At the disco (don't know if you heard of it) was emo. "I mean it depends on which songs you listen to-" Ryan was interrupted when we walked right into another tree. "Cmon ryan! You have your flashlight on! Why can't- wait. Dude what's on your face?" Jon pointed at the piece of paper on his face.

Brendon's POV

Ryan took the paper off his face. There were words on it. He read, "'You may feel down, For there is no scare, Turn this paper around, And you'll run there.' There? Where's there?" He said as he turned it around. "AAAHHHHH!!" He shrieked as he threw the paper on the ground and ran into my arms.

Oh. So there's there.

Spencer pick up the piece of paper to reveal a daddy long-leg. "Really ryan? A mere spider? First you're  scared of the dark, and now spiders? Don't ya think that's a bit much?" Spencer teased.

"Shut up!" He said.

We looked at each other. "Tsk tsk tsk. What am I gonna do with you?" I say as I put him on the ground. He smirked at me.

Ryan's POV

"Anything you want." I answered. Suddenly I don't feel fear at all. Weird.

"Ok lovebirds let's keep going." Jon said in annoyance.
