Liz hummed to herself as she put the books in her hand on the shelf. There had been a test in Professor Merkulova's class that she passed with flying colors. All in all, it had been a good day.

She walked over to Klaus' desk to check the list he had left her. He was busy all week and she had asked him to leave her a list of things to do. She had wrestled Randy into taking his share of the Prefect work. Between the two of them, Klaus wouldn't have much to do today.

Thirty minutes passed as she worked around the office. She looked up when she heard the jingling of keys in the door and smiled when she saw Klaus walk in. "How was your day?"

"Busy." Klaus glanced over at her and walked to his desk. "What work have you done so far?"

"I just got the list you left done and Randy is doing paperwork." Liz walked over to stand next to him.

"Is he actually doing paperwork or did he just tell you he was doing paperwork?" Klaus raised an eyebrow at her and crossed his arms over his chest.

"He's doing paperwork in the Library. Elias is supervising." Liz smiled and watched as Klaus' posture relaxed slightly.

"Thank you."

"You're welcome." Liz reached up and smoothed the lapels of his jacket down. "What did you do today?"

"I taught two classes this morning and then did some training with Vincent." Klaus leaned down and captured her lips with his. Liz sighed and leaned into him as he deepened the kiss. "Now that I seem to have an afternoon free why don't we enjoy it?"

Liz looked up at him and nodded. She could feel her cheeks turning pink. It didn't matter how many times they had done this she still blushed at the beginning. She didn't know if it was still due to embarrassment or if it was because of her need. Her money was on the later.

His lips met hers again in an all consuming kiss and her hands moved from his chest to wrap around his neck. She felt him move her backward until they hit the desk, the edge of it dug into her back and she squirmed at the feeling. He must have noticed her discomfort because he was suddenly lifting her onto the clean surface.

Klaus released her lips to trail open-mouth kisses down her neck. Liz gasped at the feel of it and widened her legs to make room for him to stand between them.

"You haven't talked to her yet?" He ran a hand through his long red hair sheepishly.

"I was working up to it." Klaus sighed and pulled away from Liz.

"Well someone better start talking!" Liz breathed.

"Easy there, Empress." Vincent held up his hands in a gesture of surrender and Liz bristled a little at the nickname. "You know how I'm always flirting with you and it annoys your boyfriend?" A smug expression spread across his features and Liz rolled her eyes.

"Yes," she ground the word out between clenched teeth. Where was he going with this?

"I jokingly suggested today during our training that I would back off if he let me watch you two. I expected him to punch me square in the jaw..."
