Under the Sea (Jimin x Mermaid Reader)

Lost (Pt.12)

The next day you woke up in the morning forgetting everything that happened the night before. You looked beside you and saw Jimin was sound asleep. You admired his beauty for awhile then you remembered everythig night. You couldn't help it but smile to yourself, but that smile soon faded as you realized you still are a mermaid.

"Why'd your smile go away? It's so pretty." Said Jimin. You slightly jumped since you thought he was asleep. You blushed at the complement, he just simply smiled at you. He got up and kissed your forehead, sending shivers down you shine.
He then went to the washroom and brushed his teeth and came back. You did the same. However, When you came back you saw Jimin scattering one of his bedside drawers.

"Jimin? What are you looking for?" You asked. He looked up at you with worried eyes.
"I trust you now so I wanna give you your ring back. I swear I left it here..." He said as he continued searching. Your mind went blank, if he found the ring, you'd have to go back. If he didn't you'd die soon.

"I can't find it." He said. He begun looking everywhere else and inside his jacket. As you were about to lose your mind you remembered what Noor told you. He said if you get someone to love you, you can live on earth without dying. That instantly brightened your mood a bit, but you also worried that Jimin didn't love you.

"Jimin it's okay, let's go ask the others if they have seen it." You suggested, he nodded and left the room.

"Hey guys have you seen this ring somewhere around?" Asked Jimin as he showed the guys a picture of the ring.

All but one nodded no.
"I've seen it !" Said Taehyung.
"Where?!" You and Jimin exclaimed at the same time.
"On the news! That ring is over 1000 years old! It's worth millions. Apparently someone found it in Korea and took it to some archeologists." Said Taehyung. Jimin looked at you.

"What am I gonna do now?"You said. Jimin looked at the ground.
"(Y/n) I'm so sorry I lost it." He said. His poor eyes couldn't even look at you.  You weren't mad at him, it's not his fault.
"It's Okay I'm not mad." You said. His head shot up and his eyes met yours.
"You're not?" He asked. You nodded, and suddenly he pulled you into a hug.

"J-Jimin you're kinda killing me here." You managed to say. He pulled out of the hug and you took in a huge breathe.
"I'll get you that ring back I promise!" He said. Just as he finished his sentence his phone rang. He pulled it out of his pocket and starred at it

"Pick it up, who is it ?" You asked.
"It says unknown." He said. He still picked it up, but the voice on the other side said nothing.

"Hello?"
"Can I speak to (Y/n)."
"Huh? What? Who is this."
"Jimin, please just give the phone to her."

Jimin slowly hands you the phone. You didn't really know what was going on, but from what you can pick up the voice was staticky as if it was meant to be covered.

"Hello?" You said.
"Hi there (y/n) I know your littl- or should I say big secret."

You gasped, you wondered what it meant and how it could possibly know anything.

"Look I know you could care less about the ring, but if you don't want the whole world, or Jimin to know the secret. Come and see me."

You were more terrified of Jimin knowing more then the whole world.

"When and where should I meet you?" You asked. You saw how Jimin had a very confused and worried look the whole time.
"Good girl. See me next Friday, 12:00 pm sharp. At the aquarium. Come alone. "

Before you could say something else they hung up.

"Who was it? What did they say?" Asked Jimin.

"O-oh it was just my friend, she's visiting and she just wanted to meet up." You lied to Jimin because you didn't want him to worry, and ask you a billion questions.
"Oh okay, can I come with you? I wanna meet your friend." He asked. You didn't know what to say next.
"Uh I think it's best if you don't, she doesn't really like meeting new people." You felt bad, since it came off rude. Jimin just nodded his head.

"Okay I understand." He said and walked into the kitchen. You can tell he was a little suspicious.
"One more question, why was her voice staticky?" He asked. You took a long pause thinking of what to say next.
"Umm because she has really bad connection here hahahah." You said as you scratched the back of your neck. 'Way to go (Y/n), what a great liar you are.' You sarcastically thought to yourself.

For the most part of this, you were really scared to see who did this, and what do they want from you. But for now your main goal is still keeping Jimin out of this mess.

Sorry for the late update! I had exams but now it's summer so I'll update more often.
