Your head swam numbly when you opened your eyes. Your brow was drenched by damp cloth draped over your forehead. Your limbs were pinned at your sides by layer upon layer of tucked covers. It was dark in the room except for the faint light drifting from a sliding door.

You turned your head, looking about the room and immediately recognizing the organized chaos. "Sans?" You muttered quietly. "Are you there?"

"Yes kid?"

Sans responded without hesitation. You swiveled your head in the direction of his voice and found him listening to music at the end of the bed. Headphones were placed over the phantom of where his ears would be, one pushed back so he could hear.

"Sans why am I in your room again?" You asked bluntly. "The last thing I remember is watching a movie..."

"You tried to serve me soup." He explained, eyes not leaving his iPod. "You were dillusional and fell when you tried to go to the kitchen. Passed out when you hit the ground."

"Oh." You grunted. Sitting up, you removed the rag from your brow and put it to the side. Your hand folded back the covers and you swung your legs over the side of the bed. Standing, you stretched as far as you could, joints popping and relaxing as you sighed.

Sans looked at you, standing abruptly and grabbing your arm. "Wow kid. Sorry but you're on bed rest until-"

Snatching his hand, you pressed it to your face and fixed a steely gaze on him. "The fever is broken Sans. In addition to that my symptoms has regressed greatly. I'm fine."

Sans seemed startled by the matter-of-fact tone you took. Pulling his hand away, he was silent as you turned to exit the room. He seemed surprised. As you left the room, you could feel Frisk's eyes fix on you from the couch downstairs. He sighed, shaking his head slowly. "For once will you take the day off? I was hoping you'd stay sick a little longer." Frisk feigned disappointment and you snickered as you sat next to him. Sans appeared from his room not to long after and trotted down the stairs, looking at you and Frisk for a moment. "I'm going to the club if either one of you want to join." He offered.

Frisk looked at you hopefully, pouting after you shook your head. "Sorry Sans, but I have plans to continue on today." You said with formal resolve.

Frisk groaned childishly. "Agh! You always get this way after you've been sick. You go all mad with power trying to be super productive just because you missed a day."

You pursed your lips, rolling your eyes. "I just think we need to get going is all. I need to get you out of here sooner rather than later." You chirped.

"But I like it just fine down here." He muttered.

"But wouldn't you like to dance at that academy of yours up top?" You teased. "And it would be pretty cool to get the monsters up top as well."

His eyes lit immediately as Sans own eyes grew to the size of saucers. "What?!" He spat in a surprised manner. "Kid you gotta be messing with me. We've been down here for hundreds of years and gone through several scientist and we still haven't made it out. What makes you think-"

"I have a better motivation." You said shortly, eyes glimpsing towards your adoptive brother. "We'll leave soon. I'll lock the door on the way out so don't worry about. Just go to the club. Frisk has his warm ups to do anyway."

Once again, Frisk groaned in bitter laziness. "Man, I thought I was gonna get a longer break."

"Lucky for me, we fell down into a society just like ours. Now go put on your ballet slippers and start your exercises."
