4. Starbucks

The boys went to a table while I waited for our orders to be done. I was the only one in line beside another girl.

"Hi. Are you new here?" turned around to see a girl with long brown hair and green eyes staring at me.

"Ya, I actually just moved down here from New Jersey with my best friends," I say introducing myself.

"Cool, well I'm Katherine but you can call me Kat if you want," Kat said.

"Well I'm Brittney, but you can call me Bri if you want. That's what my friends call me... Do you want to sit with me and my friends? unless you're with someone else"

"Ya, sure!" She said getting her order following me to the table the boys were sitting at.

"Hey, how could you tell that I was new?" I said.

"Well I got a hint from your cute shirt" I looked down and remembered I was wearing a shirt that said 'New Jersy' on it.

"Oh," I said as we were laughing

"So who is this Bri?" Logan said as we got to the table with our drinks.

"Hasn't even been a day and you already found a friend! How do you do it?" Ethan said making me laugh a little.

"Well she is beautiful, funny and nice so that might be it," Grayson said making me blush.

Did he just call me beautiful?

"Yeah, probably" Ethan said.

"This is Kat," I said introducing Kat.

"Kat, this is Ethan, Grayson, Jake, and Logan," I said pointing to each boy as I said their name.

"So how old are you?" Ethan asked.

"I'm 16, and I'm gonna be a junior at my High School after summer break"

"Cool, Bri, Gray and I are also 16, but we do online school," Ethan said.

"Aw, really," Kat said.

"Yeah, sadly," I said.

"Well I think Logan and I are gonna get home," Jake said throwing away his drink.

"Yeah, I guess we should all head home," Grayson said.

We went home and I got to sleep in my new bed for the first time.

**One year later**

I woke up with the bright sun shining in my face. I got up to get ready and then headed to the kitchen to make breakfast for all of us.

**Grayson's POV**

I woke up to the smell of pancakes. I ran to the kitchen not caring that I was only wearing my pajama pants and no shirt. Bri was making pancakes for us so I started setting up the table with some plates.

Ethan finally woke up and then Bri finished the pancakes.

"So Jakes picking me up soon so we can hang out, want to come?" Ethan said a couple minutes after we started eating.

"Nah, I have to finish editing our video for this week, sorry bro," I said taking a huge bite of pancakes.

"Yeah sorry E, I'm gonna finish decorating my room, chill and maybe read a book," Bri said taking her first bite of the pancakes.

"Ok. Thanks for the pancakes Bri, they were really good" Ethan said getting up to put his plate in the sink.

**45 minutes later**

"E, Jakes here!" I said shouting down the hallway letting Jake in.

"Sup Jake, sorry I can't go, we can hang out together another time though," I said as Ethan walked into the living room.

"Yeah, no worries. K bye Gray" Jake said closing the door.

"Ok bye," I said heading to my room as soon as the door closed so I could start editing.

After I was done editing I went to Bri's room to ask her if she wanted to go on a hike.
