6. In-N-Out

I meet up with Kat so I could tell her what just happened.

I saw her right as I walked through the doors.

"Hey girl!" She said

"Let's order, what do you want," I said still thinking about the kiss.

"I know I've only known you for a day but I can tell that there is something wrong. What happened" she said pulling me into a booth before ordering.

"We kissed!" I said trying to make sure no one was listening.

"Who?" She said

"Grayson and I kissed," I said re-running the words through my head to make sure it was real.

"Really! I honestly thought you guys were kinda dating when I first met you. I mean have you seen the way he looks at you. So tell me, what happened?" She said

"How about we order the food and then I tell you because I'm starving," I said getting up

"Ok, fine," she said also getting up.

Kat and I ordered the same thing, a cheeseburger with no unions and a milkshake.

We finally sat down and I told her what happened.

"Well this morning I made Ethan and Grayson pancakes when Ethan asked if we wanted to hang out with him and Jake today," I said taking a bite of my burger.

"Grayson said he was too busy editing this weeks video and I said that I had to finish decorating my room and that I was gonna maybe hang out with you," I said taking a sip of my milkshake.

"After about an hour or two after E left, Gray came into my room asking if I wanted to go on a hike. Once I was done getting ready for the hike I went into the living room so we could go. He said I looked amazing which made me blush a little. We finally got up the mountain by the Hollywood sign and sat on a rock"

"I was saying how perfect the view was and he said 'not as perfect as you' which made me blush again" I started to space off as I started to think about it more.

"Bri!" Kat said waving her hand by my eyes to get my attention.

"Right, sorry" I continued

"Grayson started to move closer to me and when I looked at him, he was staring at me. I felt so weird, I felt like he was staring into my soul, and I felt a different way about Grayson. he moved a little closer and said 'hey Bri' 'I think I like you' all I responded with is 'I think I like you, too' and then he leaned in to kiss me" I said remembering the moment when he kissed me.

"Oh my god! Was it magical?" She asked doing a little dance with her eyebrows that made me laugh.

"Trust me it was more than magical," I said spacing off again.

We finally left and Kat dropped me off at my apartment just as Ethan and Jake got home.

When I got to the apartment I went straight to my room ignoring the fact that Gray was in the living room watching TV.

All I did was text Kat to make plans for tomorrow and then I started to read my book as the sun went down.

**Grayson's POV**

I wasn't just going to go on a hike Brittney, I wanted to spend more time with her.

"Come in," she said after I knocked on her door.

"Your room looks nice," I said

"Thanks," she said getting off her couch.

"So, what's up?" she said putting her book on the desk.

"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a hike on this trail I found b the Hollywood sign," I said sitting down on her couch.

"Um, yeah sure. Just let me get ready" She said heading to her closet.

"Ok I'll be in the living room," I said heading into the living room

I was going on a hike with Brittney so I could spend some more time with her. I mean we do live together but we never get to spend time together with just the two of us because Ethan is always there.

"K, Gray you ready," she said walking into the living room.

My eyes went directly towards her when she walked into the room.

She looked amazing, she was so pretty.

"Wow, you look amazing Bri!" I saw her blush a little.

"K, let's go," Bri said heading out the door.

"Ok, I'm coming," I said getting off the couch and heading towards the door.

"So I was thinking we could hike up by the Hollywood sign and take some pictures" 

"Ya, sure! whatever you want" she said starting to skip down the sidewalk a little.

We finally made it to the top of the mountain right by where the Hollywood sign was.

Nobody was there even though it was was a perfectly sunny day.

Brittney and I were all alone.

We sat on a rock to sit down, enjoy the view and take some pictures.

"This view is so perfect," she said looking over the whole entire downtown L.A view.

"Not as perfect as you," I said making her blush.

I decided to sit closer to Bri, and I started staring at her beautiful hazel eyes.

when she started looking back at me I felt like we were staring into each other's souls.

I leaned closer not breaking eye contact as if I was about to kiss her.

"Hey Bri," I said.

"Ya?"

"I think I like you,"

"I think I like you, too" I leaned in closer, and kissed her.

It was crazy, different, magical.

The kiss may have only been a couple seconds but it felt like hours.

After that, we went to the apartment but then Bri left to go hang out with Kat.

All the thoughts were running through my mind.

Did I just kiss my best friend?

Is this gonna ruin our friendship?

Did I actually, finally kiss the girl of my dreams, that I've liked for 10 years?

Does Bri really like me?

My mind was going crazy, I had to get some fresh air to clear out my mind so I grabbed my skateboard and rode around L.A.

I was near a store so I decided to get Bri a card.

I got a blank card with a picture of a sunset on the cover. When I got home I went to the desk to write in it.

'Dear Bri,
I had a lot of fun with you today, I hope you had fun too.
I was wondering if maybe you wanted to go hang out by the beach sometime soon?
If not it's fine. All I want is for you to be happy!❤
