This story should be set after the second wizarding war.
Regina, alike her sister, Hannah Abott, is sorted into Hufflepuff.
The two had belonged in wizarding families on the opposite side, with an ongoing vendetta for the murder of Regina's mother.
The story highlights the unresolved emotions of the public during the aftermath of the war. Which drew both sides of the wizarding community further apart. There should also be riots all over the ministry, trying to overthrow each other.

All her life, Regina Abott had been taught to never trust an acquaintance of dark magic. She knew, she had seen what the followers of he-who-must-not-be-named had done to her family. Now, the evil Dark Lord was dead, his death eaters scattered, powerful no more. Thousands of which imprisoned in Azkaban, their family shamed and abused. It was the rebels' avenge, it was for the greater good, Regina believed. But when she returned for her final year at Hogwarts and met the silent, desolated Pansy Parkinson. Regina started to doubt her beliefs.
