It was a busy day of January, students and teachers were busy planning and organizing for the upcoming school festival. Students rushing from here to there, teachers assigning this and that and it goes on.

T'was a pretty normal day for Yeonha. She didn't really care about how busy everyone was around her. She just sat in her seat, watching every move her classmates make. She enjoyed being like this; being relaxed and just laid back.

But the thought of her relaxing only happens in her dreams. The word 'relax' is not in her dictionary. Whatever the program or activity, she'll have to participate whether she likes it or not. It all started when she was actively participating in activities, making the teachers adore her hardwork and perseverence in her works.

She sat properly as their class president entered the room with a pad and pen on her hands, Yeonha smiled at the sight of her friend in front, " Hi Jungri! what's up? " Yeonha asked, earning a stare from the girl. She pursed her lips as she stared back at Jungri. " Okay, everyone. The principal wanted to hold a contest for all the year levels to participate. " she started as she met eyes with everyone inside the room.

" What kind of contest? " someone asked, " A pageant of some sort. " Jungri answered while shuffling through her pad. " One pair will be picked in every year level and as your president, I have chosen the candidates. " Everyone started to whisper to one another, wondering who Jungri chose to compete in the pageant. Most of them tried to avoid eye contact from her, scared that they might be the one chosen.

" Yoon Yeonha and Lai Guanlin. " she announced, the class went silent for a while and a breath of relief escaped their mouths as they heard the names Jungru announced. Except for the two people who were mentioned.

Jungri looked at Yeonha with an expectant smile plastered on her face while Yeonha's reactions says otherwise. She groaned quietly at the thought of her being the contestant. Competing for a pageant is actually number one her list of activities she'll never ever join.

" I hope the two of you will do well. " Jungri told her with a smile on her face, " I'm expecting a lot from the two of you so you guys better do well. " she continued. Jungri felt proud, being the best friend she is to Yeonha, she appointed her the probably most difficult task for her. Knowing Yeonha, she'll do well in every task assigned to her.

" You have two weeks to prepare. Good luck, Yeonnie. " Jungri told her friend and winked. Yeonha groaned and ran her hand on her face. She sighed deeply as she took a glance at Lai Guanlin, the timid and quiet boy from her class.

Guanlin isn't the type of person who talks a lot even if he's shy. He's utterly quiet and he looks really soft and weak. Plus, he's like the class' little chick, thus earning the nickname 'byeonguanlin'.

How can a timid person like him compete in something as daring as this? Yeonha sighed in disbelief as she looked at the boy with her arms crossed, " This will be a tough one, you can do this Yeonha. " she told herself as she gave herself a high-five.
