The moment Yeonha arrived in school, she quickly searched for the shy boy in her class. The boy was already in his seat with his head low while reading something from his notebook. She mentally encouraged herself to approach the boy but it took her for a few minutes to win over a conflict between herself.

She sighed and approached the boy. She suddenly tapped his shoulders making him jump in surprise. He turned to look at Yeonha as he fixed his round glasses slightly hanging on his nose. Her mouth almost dropped as she examined Guanlin's pretty features. He shyly cleared his throat making Yeonha to snap out.

" M-may i help you? " he stuttered. Yeonha slightly smiled and bent down to his level, " Lai Guanlin? " she mentioned. Guanlin nodded nervously as he avoided eye-contact with her. " Can you spare me a minute? "

Guanlin couldn't mutter another word as Yeonha had already pulled him out the room. Surprised and embarrassed, he kept his head down as he let Yeonha drag him. She immediately let go of his arm as they arrived inside a vacant room. Still embarrassed, Guanlin still kept his head low as he fidget with his fingers.

Yeonha looked at the boy silently as she observed him. She smiled and clasped her hand together grabbing Guanlin's attention. Yeonha smiled at him, " Hi Guanlin. I'm pretty sure you know me but let me introduce myself again, " she paused receiving a quiet stare from the boy. Lending her hand out and with a smile on her face she said, " My name's Yoon Yeonha. I'll be your partner for the contest. "

Guanlin quietly stared at Yeonha and her hand and shyly shook her hand as he felt blood rush to his face. Never in his life has he felt so embarrassed about shaking hands with anybody. It's not like he likes the girl affectionaly but something about her just makes him feel shy. Probably because of her cheerful and bright personality that is the complete opposite of his.

" M-my name is Guanlin. " he introduced himself, Yeonha nodded her head as she shook his hand cheerfully. They pulled their hands away and a moment of silence enveloped them and it was really awkward for the two of them. Yeonha isn't really the type of person to get awkward with someone she just talked with, usually they'll be lively. But it was different with Guanlin, she was awkward and shy herself.

They both wandered their eyes around the room just trying to avoid contact with eachother. The room was filled with various art materials and a few painted canvas was seen hanging on the walls. " Oh, so i pulled you in the art room. " Yeonha commented. Guanlin just nodded, still admiring the paintings.

Yeonha immediately thought of how they'll do the contest. She rarely joins contests like this, especially if it involves a guy. " So Guanlin, how do you feel about appointed as the escort to represent our year? " Yeonha asked him while pulling a chair from the side and sitting on it. Guanlin looked at her and cutely shrugged his shoulders.

" This.. this is actually my first time joining a contest. " he said while fixing his glasses and shyly looked at Yeonha, " I-I feel nervous and anxious. I don't know how I'll do. " he continued, this time playing with the hem of his coat. Yeonha just nodded silently as Guanlin fidgetted with his shirt.

Yeonha thought of ways to change or improve the shy boy. She wants to change him for the better, she wants him to be more sociable and have lots of friends and just be confident about himself. It's not like she hates his shy attitude, she just wants Guanlin to be more sociable and confidenr of himself. " Don't worry, I'll help you. " Yeonha told him earning an adorable surprised look from the boy. " Y-you will? "

Yeonha stood up and walked towards Guanlin and rested her hand on his shoulder even though it was a bit difficult for her to reach it due to his really tall height, but she still managed. " Of course i will! I won't let that good-looking face of yours go to waste! Plus, you're really tall and girls will easily swoon over you. " she said making him shy making his cheeks turn to a tint of red.

She giggled at the cute image of the boy infront of him, " You.. you think i'm good-looking? " he asked shyly. Yeonha nodded cheerfully and smiled. " Of course! I'll rank you first as the most good-looking student in our class. " she said making Guanlin smile shyly and chuckle softly. She patted his shoulder.

" S-so, when do we start? " Guanlin asked, Yeonha bopped her head to the side and glanced at the clock, " We'll do it later, you can chill for a while. "
