Our new session just started. It was my first day of 5th grade. My vision had started to get a little blurry so I got my glasses during our summer vacation.
When I reached my locker I saw Kim standing there, looking a little astonised when she saw me.
"OH MY GOD. YOU GOT GLASSES! Well they are looking good on you." She said it while smirking at me.
"Yeah? Okay. I will catch up with you and Nate later. Bye. "
"See you later nerdy boy."
I knew that Nate was busy with the junior football match so I hadn't disturbed him much during the summer break.
My home room teacher was again Miss Wells. It'd been two years in Boston. I'd made quite a lot of friends. I was one of the member of the library group when I came here so most of my friends weren't very social.
I loved sports, especially basketball but I didn't want any attention so I used to play after school with Nate sometimes or practice my piano lessons because Cara couldn't have bought me one right then.
On my way to math class I met Chris.
"Hey Chris, are we going to have a meeting today in the library?"
"Probably. Be on time. Now gotta go Jake. Bye. "
We all got settled down in our class and Sir Larry started teaching some fundamental basics of algebra.
Suddenly our principal Mr. Rouston entered our class.
"Dear students, I'm happy to inform you all that a new student is going to join your class. She just came here from Arizona and she's a brilliant child. I hope that you will all treat her well."
Everyone were trying to peek so that they could look at her but no one came inside. When Principal Rouston called her name, my heartbeat stopped.
"Sarah come inside. They are all a friendly bunch."
She came inside the room, looking so beautiful. Her hair was a little shorter than before and her eyes- so blue with a tint of hazel in it. It felt like a dream to me.
"Why don't you introduce yourself Sarah "
"My name is Sarah raymond. It's nice to meet you all."
That is when our eyes met, after almost 3 years. Those 3 years I'd wondered why she'd left me and why she hadn't contacted me. I missed her so much.
But now she was standing in front of me. My Sarah.
But I was so angry at her, that my fist curled up. I just didn't want people to know that I knew her. When she walked towards me, I stood up from my chair. I was a little taller than her.
"Hey Jake. Long time no see."
She smiled towards me.
"You're right. Long time no see."
I looked the other way, unable to face her, especially right now. Sir Larry gave her a seat next to Bailey.
I knew she was sad but this was all her fault and I wasn't going to forgive her so easily.
