Yay! One more week left of exams! If you go back to the previous chapter then the pic on the side is of Kaiya in her interrogation force outfit. I couldn't think of a title for this chapter so um...yeah... I'll think of a better one later! k :D Now I would also like to apologize for my rather short chapters recently... I'm planning on in the vacation to make my chapters longer, more detail, and more mysterious :P Ok? Ok. Thanks! Enjoy!
I tsk’ed in annoyance before clicking my fingers, the chain around Mizuki’s neck tightening.
“Why don’t you just accept it Mizuki?! Tsubaki is dead!” That wasn’t entirely true of course. Tsubaki was actually sitting in the room next to this one, listening to Mizuki’s interrogation, probably crying her eyes out. She truly did love him before he came involved with Orochimaru. Orochimaru helped him create a potion to increase his power and abilities. Mizuki wanted to get revenge on Naruto and Iruka, but he almost died because the potion was incomplete. Mizuki shook his head in disbelief.
“No, no, no, no, no! Tsubaki isn’t dead! She’s alive! I saved her!” I raised an eyebrow. It must probably be side effects from the many potions I’ve injected into him. I sighed and placed my hand on the chain which was around his neck, making him flinch. We were currently inside his head. It was a black abyss, with only him in a metal chair, which he was tied to by chains, a long chain around his neck and I.
“Look, Mizuki, I lied. I was told to lie to you but I think that it would be for the best if I told you the truth…” I said silently and looked away, feeling his eyes staring at me.
“What?” I looked back up at him.
“Tsubaki…she’s not dead…” His eyes widened in happiness, in which I looked away at. “But…” I could feel his eyes droop.
“But?” I gulped nervously, before answering.
“She’s currently in the hospital, due to die in a few hours.” His eyes widened. All of that was of course a lie, but Mizuki was so helpless that it’ll be almost easy now to get information out of him.
“I-is there a way to save her?!” He asked and I mentally smirked.
“Of course there is, but we’d need your help.” I said, staring at him, emotionless. He gulped.
“A-anything! Just tell me what to do and I’ll do it!”
“Well Mizuki, the only way to save Tsubaki will be to feed her the potion you tried to make, but it’ll have to be complete.” That’s what this entire interrogation is about. Finding out what was in that monstrosity of a potion. He hesitated, but nodded.
“Fine, I’ll tell you…” He said softly, before naming all the ingredients. Through the entire interrogation there were people listening, Tsubaki being one of them, and they all wrote down the dialogue, and now the ingredients.
“A-and that’s it! Now please, just save Tsubaki!” He pleaded, in which I just stared at him emotionlessly.
“Mizuki, thank you for cooperating.” His eyes widened.
“W-what?” I smiled, tugging on the chain lightly.
“If there’s anything you want to say to Tsubaki, now is your chance.” His eyes widened before spatting his heart out.
“Tsubaki! I’m sorry! I should’ve never joined Orochimaru! If I didn’t then you might’ve still loved me. I regret it every day, not being there for you, doing the wrong things, a-and I’m sorry! I know you’re not one to forgive and I won’t ask for your forgiveness! I just hope that you will live a happy life. I wish I could be there with you, or at least watch you, but I can’t. Because there’s no doubt in my mind that I’m going to hell! Tsubaki! I love you!” He yelled his final words, before I completely pulled the chain, cutting off his oxygen supply, letting him die.
“You ok, kiddo?” Ibiki-sensei asked me once I stepped out of the room with Mizuki’s corpse in. I nodded.
“What about Tsubaki?”
“She ran out before she could even finish listening to his speech.” I looked slightly down in sadness.
“Poor thing…” I mumbled and Ibiki nodded, agreeing. He then ruffled my hair, smiling.
“You ok? You look as if you’ve got a lot on your mind lately.” My eyes widened a bit. It’s a true. Ever since that red moon experience, I can’t help but think of it all the time. That moon and the voice… Plus my uncontrolled and unaware actions. Something was defiantly odd. I shook my head.
“Nah it’s nothing, just thinking of my team. They haven’t changed much…” He shook his head.
“Well, I better be going.” I nodded and he turned to walk into his office but before he was about to close his door, he turned his head to me. “Oh and Kaiya?”
“Hm?”
“I’ll be assigning a lone mission to you anytime now.” My smile grew bigger and I nodded. He then closed his door and I went down the hall to the locker room, where I changed from my Interrogation force outfit to my normal ninja outfit. I then left the building and went down the street. My mind drifted to the moon and voice again. It wanted me to enter the portal, but to where? Where would I have founded myself if I entered? And that voice, could it have controlled my body? I was suddenly shook by the shoulders, snapping out of my thoughts and I looked up at Naruto.
“Hm?”
“I need your help, Kaiya-chan!” He exclaimed and I sweat dropped.
“With what?” I asked, thinking it would be something like helping him search for his ramen coupon.
“Our team needs an extra member to replace Sasuke.” I blinked.
“Is it for a mission?” I asked and he nodded. I hm’ed silently, the vibrations jumping in my neck. “I’ll have to hear from Gai-sensei first, k?” He nodded and engulfed me in a hug, catching me by surprise.
“Thank you so much Kaiya-chan!” He said, before running off again. I sweat dropped. He’s kinda weird… My eyes suddenly shot open as I looked around. But I could’ve sworn…
“Ninja Art! Super Beast Scroll!” I heard. Uh oh…ah well, not my problem. I said as I shoved my hands in my pockets and continued walking.
