CHAPTER 2
"You should go." my mom said.
I laughed. "No."
She gave me a serious look.
"What?" I asked, stuffing some chicken in my mouth.
"Your going to the trip." she said eating some mash potatoes.
See, this what I get for telling my mom about the school trip.
"No, mom. I already told you it's stupid." I said getting slightly annoyed.
My moms eyes narrowed. "Language."
I rolled my eyes. Yes, my mom thinks stupid is a bad word. Therefore I can't say stupid or any real bad words.
"Mom. I'm not going." I said.
"Yes, you are."
"Why?" I whined.
"Because you rarely ever go outside and enjoy the nature, plus I told you already, I'll be away for a few days. So you might as well go. And don't forget to take Grub with you."
"Wait, why do I have to take Grub?" I asked, nodding my head over to my guinea pig.
"Because I'm going to go on a trip with your aunt and I don't want to take care of him. He's yours anyway."
I sighed. "Fine."
After a few minutes of eating in silence, my mom spoke up. "So," she cleared he throat. "I saw your father-"
"Mom." I cut her off. "Don't."
She gave me a worried look. "Belinda."
"I'm not in the mood."
"When will you ever be?"
I shrugged. "Not now mom, not now."

1 DAY BEFORE
I looked up at the school bus in dread. I really didn't want to go to this trip.
I looked over at Diane next to me.
"You look excited." she joked.
"Extremely." I said flatly.
Diane was with her boyfriend, so she went into the bus and sat with him. So lucky me got to sit alone.
Note the sarcasm please.
I felt the sensation of someone looking at me so I looked over and saw Nathan sitting right next me.
The only thing separating us from sitting next to each other was the aisle.
Wow this day was going great!
"Hi." I heard him say.
I glanced over at him then looked away. I might've looked calm from the outside but from the inside I was freaking out. Just look away, I told myself. Just look away.
I wonder if he's still a jerk.
I saw a large hand appear in front of my face, waving.
I sighed in annoyance. "What?" I snapped.
"Okay, now I'm sure it's Belinda. I was a bit unsure but you still have the same attitude." he smiled stupidly.
I scowled, and looked away.
"So how's been grumpy Linda been doing?" he asked.
I rolled my eyes.
"I see your eyes still roll the same way." he commented.
