"I'll break you."

Vell had his head turned to the side exposing his left cheek up. That warmed ear was now pressed against the bed. Blocked away from Damien, with nothing to say he laid still.

Releasing one hand from pinning him down, His thumb pressed against Vell's chin, tilting it upwards then back towards him giving the chance to bring his lips closer to the others. Only inches away from touching.

Feeling their breath clashing his nostrils flared a little followed by a smaller hand smacking Damien's cheek. WAP! His hand print with the royal band across his finger imprinted upon the butler.

Stunned as his face was turned away, the pain was faint but both his cheek stung as the little princes palm did as well. "I'm not a puppet for your own creation to control! Not you... Not Vlad. No one." He opened his eyes as the tears stopped.

"Don't let him cloud your judgement my lord. You're not making logical decisions." The emotions were high between the two but distracted by a snapping twig in the distance. Damien stood up and shut the black curtains. Darkening the room and yet concealing more of their existence away from the tinted windows. "He is close but won't find us if we remain inside." The sound proof walls and glass was intended to make the safe house, one hundred percent safe. If it was found, Damien feared it wouldn't hold for long. Not identical twins but Vladimir wasn't going to play nice. There is no rules, theres his way or no way. Always so forceful for his own way but Vlad always felt he's done it out of love or a good reason. Once people see a path some are way too stubborn to take a new one. Fear to await what a new path would bring perhaps?

Vell sat up in the bed and exhaled heavily as he caught his forehead within a free palm. "I'm just confused.." And scared but like hell he'd admit that out loud.

"I know you are. Your memories are tainted." His voice was disappointed but when turning around to face Vell, apart of him knew he was catching feelings. Unexplained, it just felt like he must keep Vell to himself. Away from that sex fiend brother of his. Vlad. The thought of him just made Damien's jaw lock with hatred.

Vladimir was searching high and low but desperately trying to find his little prince. Shaking his head side to side. "I need you Vell.... Damien doesn't understand. That lowlife coward." A low growl triggered by the thought of his missing boy. Twigs snapping occasionally but he made his way towards a path, hoping for a river. He'll find a small animal to feed on to keep his energy up. Sooner or later, Vell and Damien need food too. Pandering to himself about a plan, he sat down on a rock battling his own demons within his heart and mind. Maybe he wasn't completely sane. Love makes you do strange things or act out but so does greed, lust and any other sin. Don't be fooled.

Back at the safe house Vell and Damien were in the bedroom until he ordered the butler to fetch him a drink and food. Fingers crossed for luck, not betrayal, he bowed to Vell. "Yes my lord." He exited the room politely shutting the door behind himself.

Vell took this time alone to breath freely as his memories were flooding more than an overfilled cup of water. It was starting to hurt, causing pain in the front of his head. Temples pulsing as his index fingers pressed against each side. Felt like a heart beat through his skull, was it going to explode? Holy sh- he stopped himself from swearing. It wasn't very proper but he wasn't a saint.

Damien was in the kitchen area located downstairs. Wood floors, handcrafted walls. This place couldn't get any better, actually, never mind it could. Vlad could disappear forever. That idea made peace within his mind. As he scattered the cabinets, he looked for pre-made meals or just a can of beans for now. "I don't need him showing up because I cooked, tch." Scoffing as he distracted by his own selfish thoughts.

Vell saw this opportunity to go to the window. Seeing a latch, he raised his dominant hand, flicking the latch up. "Oops." That headache still pissed him off but staying in a place where two morons are fighting over him. Fuck that. He opened the window with ease without a creaking sound made. His head lowered off the edge to see how far the drop was. Approximately a twelve foot drop? He turned around and saw the blankets and sheets. "I'll just make use of the bedpost." He whispered to himself as he started to yank things. Almost falling but caught himself, he froze just incase Damien heard him but the coast was clear.

Downstairs the food was still being decided he knew how Vell could be. One time he smacked a fine cooked roast onto the floor for disliking the over done 'char' he called burnt. Blind to what's happening upstairs, he was searching for something more fresh in the refrigerator but it seems half of it was rotten with an awful oder. This place must've been forgotten about for months maybe more.

All this time Vell had a sturdy rope going on made of cloth. He chucked it out the wide opening of the window, letting it fall like a princess tower escape or just a spoiled kid running away from home. Same thing. "Here goes nothing..." His hands shook nervously, gripping the material as he started to hang his lower half out the window. When Damien finally came back upstairs he was looking Vell in the eyes as he was in mid escape from the window. A sinking feeling dropped in both of them. A heart in the gut type of feeling. His palms got sweaty and continued to slide down but in a rush, his grip slipped. Damien rushed to the window dropping everything in his hands to crash on the floor. "VELL!" The echo brushed across the trees and carried by the mountains around the area.

Vlad heard the scream as he rushed towards it, only a mile away from the location.

The prince let go of the white sheets and fell most of the way down. Damien left hanging out the window just missing the grasp onto the boy. "Vell!" He shouted again out of worry.

OOMPH!
He hit the ground as the wind felt knocked out of his chest. Vell rolled onto his stomach and bent his dirty knees up and ran. Taking off into the deep forest.

Damien jumped down from the window, stunned emotionally yet angered. "You'll realize your mistake.." His eyes of fire gutted the trees as Vell headed down that direction. Vladimir was to Damien's left.

"Where is he Damien?!" He commanded an answer.

"Oh I don't know, I've seem to have lost him." He shrugged like he didn't care or know the obvious.

Vlad saw the window and chuckled. "You can't even take care of him can you? Not pleasing him already? You always lacked the skill to connect." He smirked to himself as he recalled an accident in their childhood.

"Don't bring her up." His death glare shot at Vlad.

"Well the forest is going to swallow Vell, Princess. Move out my way." He walked towards the scent of Vell's blood. Must've gotten cut from the fall.

Damien grabbed his brother by the wrist. So in return Vlad swung his fist at Damien's jaw. Knocking him off enough to start running after Vell, as Damien stood holding his face. Licking his fangs clean of his own blood. "You'll find out soon enough..." He muttered to himself, glaring broken-heartedly at the green land.

Vell was lost, stumbling and hurting. He needed to find himself before returning to anyone. Memories with Vlad and Damien seemed they lived together but jealousy wasn't a pretty picture. The warm crimson dripped down his hip. Must've sliced his waist or abdominal area. It wasn't too bad but it stung like a bitch. Taking a break to catch his breath against a tree not too far from the river that was mentioned before. His hair was ruffled by the bark of the tree, lightly scratching his skin. Which was discolored enough already from today's excitement.

Vlad caught up to Vell and a softened look took over his face. "Let me clean your wound..." He slowly took a step forward.

Vell was alarmed as his eyes snapped at his direction whilst holding his side. "Just stay away from me. Haven't you done enough?" He spit on the ground with more torn feelings than a paper shredder. "Go to hell."

Vlad smirked. "Been there, done that. Now stop being stubborn, it's prolonging your suffering."

"Shut up pest. You don't care about anyone but yourself." Vell started took a step to leave as the ground under him collapsed. The edge sank as he fell extending his hand out with a yelp for help. CLAP! Vladimir's hand clasped around the others warm fleshy-wet hand. Staring eye to eye, he held onto Vell but the boy was slipping. Mercy and fear was screaming from the boys eyes, he didn't want to end his life just yet but was Vlad going to grant him that mercy?
