Chris Nickels had always experienced great success when it came to getting women. And of course you know that Nickels to full advantage of it. I didn't know what females saw in the asshole.

It was easy for him to get the woman, but getting rid of them was the problem. They want to come and stay. They always wanted more than what he gave them, and he would always give them less than what they asked for. The more they wanted the harder it was for him to hide from his girlfriend. Nickels wasn't like the rest of us. He played with people; hence one reason why I hate him.

He's not the only boy in our school that the girls fall head over heels for. The only thing different from the rest of us, he gives the girls false hope. And the sad part about it is, they keep coming back for more.

Ava on the other hand was a faithful girlfriend. She curved the boys who would try and talk to her, and she never classified any of them as 'just a friend'. You were always her acquainted. When you see her, she always with this weird quirky girl. She never had other flock around her, or sitting at the lunch table with her. And I think her boyfriend plays a big part in it. He was the jealous type. He would fight the players on their football team if they so much mention her. He's a hypocrite, and she's just as stupid for allowing him to control her life.

But you could tell she loves him. Does he love her? He may say he do, but he also told many females that before, especially someone who meant a lot to me.

                                                                                   ********

4 years ago right before Chris got with Ava, Chris, Gianna, and I was the dynamic trio. The three of us were always with each other. We were inseparable. It was our eight grade year at that time, the year right before high school. You could tell that Chris really liked Gianna, every boy that would treat her wrong he was always there to handle them; he was there to defend her.

It was one day, we were at the park. Chris was pushing Gianna on the swing. The more force he used, the harder she would laugh. I remember watching them too, always hugged up, always laughing with each other.

I wasn't completely in love with her like Chris was, but she was my friend; a sister to me. Gianna was a weird, but unique girl. She was on the shorter side with long dark brown hair. She was paler than most at the time and she always had something random to say.

That same day in the park was the same day Chris asked her to be his girlfriend. Maybe she was waiting for that moment, maybe she wasn't. But you could tell the smile on her face, showed how truly happy she was.

The remaining of eighth grade year, the two of them were rock hard. Our friendship lasted for so long, but it seems like after they  got together I was pushed to the side. It wasn't just three anymore, it was only two. That's when I befriended Cory and Aaron.

The summer before high school, I would always hang out with those two. I would occasionally see Chris and Gianna hanging out.  I figured this was how it was going to be for now on, so I went on to accepting it.

When 9th grade hit, Chris had gained some new friends. You wouldn't see him and Gianna all the time like you use to, but you would see him with other girls. Two months in, school had begun for the day, and a crowd was gathered in the middle of the hallways. Making my way to the front, I saw Gianna standing there crying.

"You are nothing but a liability to me Gianna!" Chris yelled at her.

"Chris, how could you say that?" tears running down her cheek while she talked.

"How could I say that? It's because it's true. I only used it. Used you until I got bored. There's really no reason for me to pretend anymore. I don't love you. Never have and never will."

She ran off. I ran after her. Unfortunately she didn't want to talk.

For days she didn't show up for school. I tried calling her. I tried stopping by her house, but she was never home. It wasn't until one morning right before school my parents discovered that her parents moved away. That day I knew I wasn't going to see Gianna anymore, and that was the same day the school was introduced to Ava Maxwell.

                                                                               ********

All I have to do is stay in a committed relationship with someone until New Year's Day and I win $1,000 easily. And since Nickels manage to ruin another relationship all by himself, then I plan on making the break up a little more harder on his half.
