Blake's P.O.V

I can't believe that asshole punched me. And for the second time today, I'm stuck in the principal office. My day just keeps getting better and better.

**Earlier that day**

Beep, beep. Beep, beep. I hear the horn to Aaron's car. A few weeks ago, my dad decided it was best for him to take all my access to any vehicle I own, until I learn my lesson in behaving, and now I'm stuck with riding with this weirdo.

I open one of my bedroom window and looked down at his car. "I'm coming dumb ass!"

"I'm not hungry!" I shouted at our maid, while running down the stairs, already knowing she was going to force me to eat. I hear Aaron honking his horn and I can't wait to get in the car so I can punch that bastard.

In the last minute, I hear Elizabeth call for me.

"What?" I retrieve back to the house. She has the tendency of getting my attention at my busiest moment.

"You're leaving your book bag behind," she tells me.

"It's the first day of school." She looks at me as if she was waiting for the catch. Huffing, I grab the backpack out her hands and head my way to the car.

When I made it out the house complete, I can see Aaron smirking through his windshield, knowing that I was annoyed with him. In the back seat I see that Cory is tapping away at his phone.

Even though school has just begun, the air is still hot; the signs of fall has yet to reveal itself. I get into the passenger seat.

"What I tell you about that horn and honking it over and over again?" I asked glaring at him.

"Hey, no one told you to take your precious time and make us late. No one told you to get locked up while your daddy was in town causing him to take your keys."

Just as I was about to speak, Cory jumps in, "It's too earlier for y'all to think about arguing. Just drive to the school."

I look at Aaron, mentally asking what happened.

"His mom is back in town."

Explaining it all, Aaron begins to take us to school.

The parking lot is filled with kids and cars. After we got out the car, we head towards the entrance of the school. As usual, we get looks for every person we pass by.

"Get a good look at these females, Foster. One of them is going to be your girlfriend by the end of this week." Cory announces.

"Yeah, Foster you better choose wisely."

I'm starting to regret this bet. I can tell they not go make it easy for me.

Principal Cartullo is standing at the entrance of the building. "Foster, my office now!"

"Damn dude, what you do already?" The two idiots asked.

I ignored them and followed behind the big bad wolf. I make myself comfortable by kicking my feet up on the desk as I sat down in the place I called a second home. I've been in here so many times, it should be my own personal room.

"Take your feet off my desk! I'm pretty sure you're wondering why I called you in here. Don't think I forgot about last school year how you set the boy's bathroom on fire, got caught smoking in the cafeteria, and cussed out the spanish teacher. I told you I would get you, but since it's a new school year, you get one chance. "

"Thanks James." I called him by his first name.

"You screw this up, you'll have detention and have janitorial services to deal with for the first half of the year. Now, get out my office."

He didn't have to tell me twice. He know he's going to see me again sooner or later, but I guess I shouldn't crush his little dreams. Right outside the office waited Cory and Aaron. They questioned me about what happened, but as usual I ignored them.

"Well, shit looks who's ahead." Cory said while pointing in front of him.

Chris Nickels, the boy I hate who hates me. And look who's crowding him, his so called groupies. His groupies consist of his teammates on the football team and a few girls who desperately want him. And guess who's not with him, Ava Maxwell. The one good thing about him, that he still manage to fuck up.

Making my way closer to him I see he finally noticed my presence. Smirking, I yelled, "Nickels! I heard over the summer you been having fun with your little girlfriends."

"What do you want Foster?" He asked me annoyed.

"You know, the usual. Making your life hell."

"You could never do that. You could never amount to me. Never be better than me."

We stare at each other. This is probably why we couldn't continue as friends. He always wanted to be better than me; he thought he was. Like I said I want to make his life hell. But how?

As if a light bulb came on, I looked at him, "Is that so? Well I'm pretty sure Ava would have a different opinion. How have you been since the breakup?"

He glared at me. Bingo!  I got him right where I need him. He gets closer, too close for my liking.

"I don't think any of it is your concern. You'll never be what she wants, nothing more than just a delinquent."

I look around seeing who's all watching. And right to the side of me and I see her. Ava is her witnessing everything that it going on.

Let the games begin.

"I wouldn't speak too fast. Last time I checked you destroyed your little relationship. And I guess I'm missing something, because as of last month, I could have sworn Ava was MY girlfriend. So in her eyes, I'm more than just a delinquent."

I looks at her again, "Hey babe."

That's when he threw the first punch.

And right on cue, someone yells "Fight!"

******

And this is why I'm here with Cartullo once again.

"Foster what did I tell you?  I told you if I caught you again, what was going to happen?"

"It wasn't my fault. HE HIT ME!"

As if he didn't believe me, "Is this true Nickels?"

"No."

Not believing him either, "Miss Maxwell, did you see the fight? If so, who started it?"

Ava stared at everyone as if she didn't want to be in the mix. Finally she answered, "Chris did, sir. "

And to make a long story short, Chris got detention, I was let off the hook and there was peace in the world.

When the principal dismissed us from his office, Ava ran out trying her best to get away from us.

I caught up to her. "We need to talk," I told her.
