A Court of Light And Dark

The next morning I woke up to find Rhys gone and a note by my desk, it stated: " I've gone off to help with the reconstruction in the courts and mortal lands, I'll be back by breakfast.- Rhys"

I smiled at the note and then noticed the pen on the desk, i picked it up and wrote, "you better be, otherwise i dont know what im going to do." I smiled again and the note disappeared. A minute later it returned and it read, "well you could always look for something to do, i have great images i could show, that you could paint if you would like." I rolled my eyes as i start seeing the images that Rhys was sending through  the bond. I laugh to myself and get out of bed, and get dressed and head down for breakfast, but just before i wrote on the paper, " You better hurry im going down for breakfast now." And the note vanished. As i walked down the stairs, the note appeared in my hand, i read, " Well you better hurry yourself, since i am already in the dinning room with the rest of the inner circle, waiting for you so we may start breakfast". I laughed and windowed into the dinning room.

When i arrived we all sat and began to eat, after that i went to training with Cassian, then Rhys, then i went to a meeting Rhys by my side, we had decided to wait a little longer to tell the courts, other than our own about our child, and we were on our way to the court of nightmares to deliver the news, i still loved playing the ruthless queen, i loved how i was able to frighten my own court members in the court of nightmares.

I sat on my throne, Rhys had stuck to his vow, about sharing the throne, and like my second time in the court of nightmares i sat on the throne with Rhys on the arm of the throne. Any time we visit is was different, either i sat in his lap, or on the throne itself, either way Rhys was always by my side.

The crowd had finally quieted down, and Rhys and i raised.
"Your Queen and i have news of which ill affect the night court" said Rhys in the mask he wore when we were here. "Your Queen is with child, and when the child is born they will as well rule the night court as  we do. We will have your respect when we visit as always, and you will show your respect to our child when it is born, and as it grows up." Everyone was quite, only here and there were there whispers of suprised about the news.

I held my head high, and waited for the crowd to quite completely. Once it did, Rhys excused everyone and we left.

When we got back to Vularis Rhys and i went to our room, being with child definitely took alot of my time, making me even more tired than i had been before being pregnant, on a good day i could stay awake all day on a not so good day i would sleep in, and fall asleep about half way through the day.

Rhysand and i had been preparing a nursery for our child when we had spare time. Thankfully we didnt have to plan the ball, since it had already been planned, and all we had to do was wait, so what ever time we had left after our dailey responsibilities as High Lord and High Lady of the Night Court.
