A gust of wind blew the fiery red hair out of her face. She leaped from tree to tree, her pale hands not feeling the gelid wind at all, eyes glistening. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. Something felt wrong. As she approached her house, the soft wind became frantic, seeming not to have a single direction to blow. She reached her hand to the doorknob slowly. She inched her hand closer and closer, her breaths becoming shallower. Sword hot in her hand, she lunged forward and opened the door.
Campsis sat bolt upright in her bed, her breathing shallow, her heart beating so fast she thought it would burst through her chest. A bead of sweat trickled down her forehead. She closed her eyes right before a tear could slip out of her eye, followed by more and more.
"It's all right," she told herself.
"It was just a dream".
*Hi! *waves*
It's Elsa here. Thanks for choosing to read my story!
I apologize for the extremely short chapter here! I promise that the chapters get way longer as you read further into the story. The next chapter's up as well, so you can go ahead and read it as well :)
Also, the story might seem slightly confusing at the first few chapters, but don't worry! Your questions will (hopefully) be answered. :D
Don't forget to comment and vote if you like the story so far!
Thanks :D
