I knock on the door playing with my cat ears witch had f/c ribbons on them with bells that went ding when I walked

the door opens to reveal a smiley faced troll the one your parents tell you to stay away from (I feel like I made this joke before)
"who is the freak" the troll says referring to my ears
I felt tears start to form I must have gotten the wrong house I don't know how but this isn't nicks house
"umm sorry wrong house I will be on my way" I said turning around until...(a dragon comes and kills us all the end)
the man grabs my shoulder pulling me back fear washed over me was he going to kidnap me? or worse...
"you're nicks friend right?" the man asks letting me go
I turn around to look at him and I nod lightly
"nick!!! is this cat girl your friend" the man yells causing me to flinch (cause you had stronger hearing)
I hear foot steps from the house and I look at the door to see nick smiling lightly but once he sees me his smile turns to worry
"tommy what did you do she looks like me when I loose Herbert" nick says passing the troll
nick puts his arm around me pushing me inside
"I...I'm fine nick" I mutter my face heating up a little
nick sits me down on the couch and smiles at me kindly
"so that was tommy sorry he was rude or whatever he did he is all ways trolling" nick says
"but I didn't to anything" tommy screams making me cover my ears
the bad thing about being a neko is that I had too good of hearing and I had to be home schooled cause of it and bully's that was also a reason but I met nick he makes me feel human while everyone else makes me feel like a beast i trust him more than my parents at some times
"tommy don't yell!!!" nick yells making me cover my ears ever more "sorry..."
"all i did was call her a freak i aint lying" tommy say quitter this time
i curl up in a ball to hide the tears flowing down my eyes

" I don't see what's so bad about that word i am a freak and i embrace it i know it's a part of me and I accepted it and if you don't, you will make it a little bit easier for people to hurt you" tommy says
i look up at the troll to see him smiling tommy lifts his hand and moves my hair from my face
"you should smile you look ugly when you cry" tommy says
"tommy don't say that" nick yells quietly
what i am calling her pretty when she smiles" tommy says
i fell my self start to giggle a little at tommy and nick start to argue they both turn to look at me and they both start joining in
"oh i will go get the snacks and check on lunch" nick says
nicks leaves the room and tommy walks over to me and sits besides me
"how long have you know nick" I ask smiling lightly
"a year or two" tommy says he then gestures for me to answer
"i knew him since we where little kids" I smile felling my self blush a little
you see i had a small chrush on his but i would never tell him
"i can just imagine nick as a little kid still with a full beard" tommy laughs while I join him
I look at the door to the kitchen to see nick coming in with cookies but before I could say hi to him I fell a hand on my chin making me look at tommy, tommy leans in placing his lips again mine making my eyes widen
I hear a clink of something being placed and arm pull me away from tommy and the person probably nick held me as far away from tommy as possible while I stared at tommy in disbelief.... that was my first kiss and he stole it
'tommy what the heck why did you do that" nicks yells loudly
still in shock from the kiss i flinch not covering my ears
"i thought she was cute so i kissed her" he said
my face probably looked like a tomato
"well you can't just kiss people like that" nick says
"why not is it cause you love her" tommy says
i look up at nick to see his face is bright red
"of c....course n..." nick starts
but before he could finish tommy stands up from the couch and grabs my hand pulling me away from nick who was holding me
"y/n i know you don't know me that well but i love you and us freaks should stick together" tommy says

i stared at tommy blankly was he confessing... tommy leaned in kissing my forehead making a blush appear on my face
"do you love me y/n" he says playing with my one of my ribbons making the bell ring quietly
i felt my lips move on there own
"y...yes i... do love... y...you" i stutter
he then pulls me in a hug while nick just stares at us

he was confessing yet i don't know if i love him or not i just met him
"i...i" i stutter
"wait y/n" nick yells
i turn around to look at nick to see he was starting to tear up
'nick?" i said
"y/n i love you i have ever since we where little kids will you be my girlfriend?" nick asks
i looked at him in disbelief my best friend that i knew since i was a little girl loved me? he was the one who made me feel human and he loved me and... i... loved him
"yes" i said
nick walks over to me and hugs me while tommy just left taking the cookies with him
