It was a rainy evening, perfect for sitting and watching out your window. That's exactly what Elizabeth did, sitting on her bed looking outside her window as it rained. She always loved the rain, it was plain, and it was relaxing.

It rained a lot where she lived, and every time it did rain all she could do was stare at it and watch. It made her forget about all her troubles and helped her through her depressing times. Especially when her mother would beat her endlessly almost all the time. She didn't have any friends, and she only had her mother, her father passed away when Elizabeth was 6 years old. Ever since the day, her mother beat her. She would scream and cry until she realized it wasn't worth it, know one would help her, she was broken.

She couldn't feel any emotions, she only could feel sadness. Her mother caused her to forget how to feel emotions. When she went to school, everyone ignored her, people used to bully her for her bruises and scars, but she was always blank faced, showing nothing, the bullies grew tired of her and stoped. People called her a freak to one another.

She never smiles. She has tons of bruises and scars. She has no friends.
I don't want to be friends with her, it would make me look bad.

So she sat alone in silence. She always wore her black jacket with the hood over her head, listening to music. She wasn't shy, she just knew know one would care, it would never change.
