A few months had passed, Max was still my friend, we hung out a lot. I still don't have any emotions. I went to his house most, my house was plain and boring. We played video games a lot, he would laugh and smile, but I couldn't. He would look at me a lot in class, and when we hung out he would sit really close to me. I didn't want to think too much about it.

Then summer came around we hung out a lot more than usual. My mom didn't like that at all. "I'm going over to Max's house!" I yelled. "No your not, I haven't been able to teach you a lesson in a while, I think you deserve a good talking to." She said. I sighed and told Max that my mom wanted me home for chores as an excuse, he looked at me sadly when I did so. My mom kept me home for weeks not letting me leave the house at all. I wanted to see Max again.

One night I laid in bed thinking about how worried Max must be, he must have already gotten a clue about everything. Knock knock. I heard on my window. I turned over and saw Max, he climbed up my window. I reached over and unlocked it, he came in and closed the window behind him. He went under my blankets with me and hugged me, he started quietly crying. I felt his tears on my shirt. "Did you miss me that much-" he UP me off. "Yes! I was so worried about you because I hadn't seen you in weeks! And I missed you so much!" He said. I hugged him back and I cried, I didn't know why I cried, I didn't feel anything, but I still cried. A few minutes after he stoped crying he sat up. "Can you stay at my house for a while?" He asked. "Yea, I would like that." I responded. "How long AM I going to stay there?" I grabbed a bag and started packing clothes. "As long as you want." I grabbed a ton of clothes and stuffed them into my bag. "I'm ready to go." I said as I put my jacket on. He nodded and opened the window. We started crawling out, it wasn't too difficult. Soon enough we got to his house, we walked through the front door where his mom was sitting on the couch waiting for us. "Max told me everything, are you ok?" She asked as she walked over to me. I nodded. She sighed. "Max you know what to do from here." She said looking at Max. He nodded and we both walked to his room, I sat my bag down. "I'll sleep on the floor, you can sleep on my bed." He said. I looked at the bed then back at him and nodded. After a while we went to bed. I couldn't sleep immediately, I was thinking about everything that happened so far. After a while of thinking Max sat up. "Hey, are you still awake?" he asked. "No I'm asleep. "I replied sarcastically. "Oh ok." He said and laid back down then after a few seconds he got back up. "Wait." He laughed a little. He looked at me. " I can't sleep." He said. "Neither can I." I said back. He got up and crawled into the bed with me and hugged me. "Now I'm getting sleepy." He said yawning. I hugged him back. "Now I can sleep too." I said getting sleepier and sleepier. He was so warm, it made my eyes feel heavy. Soon enough I fell asleep wrapped in his warmth.
