Every contest has a certain set of rules you must follow. Rules help us run the contests smoothly and efficiently and helps you have a more enjoyable time as well. The first thing we ask from you young mages and wizards is that you follow this account. This ensures that you'll get notified of any important updates we have for the contests. That's the only "payment" we ask from you. Now, below is a list of rules you MUST follow in order to compete. Failure to follow these rules will result in an immediate banishment from the contests and possibly a muting on our part.

Now, for the list of rules that a lot of you naughty little people will skip over:

☠️ Bullying will NOT be tolerated. You can leave constructive criticism on other people's books and entries, but there's a fine line between helpful and downright jerk. Which one of these examples do you think will get you banned?

You should do a bit of editing, there are a few typos, and the flow of the book is interrupted because of them. Your characters are a little bland, too. Maybe add some more character development, same with the setting, it's sort of bleak.

Or:

You're a really bad writer. I don't know why I wasted my time.

Remember: Your entry should have a level of polish to it. You should give it a quick proof before you submit it.

☠️ Hmm, look at the title of our account and, oh look, the overall theme! Yes, people, this is a fantasy based account. We shouldn't need to explain this, but only fantasy books will be entered.

☠️ No smut. Come on, save that for... some other competition, please. Just, censor yourselves.

☠️ If you fail to follow these guidelines, you will be denied automatically. Do you think we just write rules for fun? Logic people, logic.

☠️ BE A NICE PERSON. Trolls may stay under the bridge where they belong. Good day! *Tips top hat, showing magic unicorn horn*

☠️ And last but not least, be unique! Be interesting! Put some twists in that "high fantasy" theme we got going on here. Be you. Although, you must use the prompt for that contest. No but's.
