Allan had always been obsessive. At first it was flattering, seeing someone so protective of you, but now, he had pushed himself to the brink of insanity if he hadn't crossed it already.
It was shocking you had taken so long to figure out what he had been doing while keeping you locked at home. He had insisted last year you move in with him, and excitedly, you did. Now, he refused to let you leave the house. This was when you started to grow suspicions, but, Allan being the man you loved, you pushed these aside. Seems as if you shouldn't have.
Today, Allan insisted on making lunch for the both of you. You had spent all night waiting for him to return, and after seeing the blood on his shoes, you continued to stay up as he slept contently, seemingly satisfied. Knowing this, he let you sleep in and rest today. He had figured out recently what you know and had since been treating you with a certain delicacy you knew was fake. Al never acts like this.
"Doll, lunch is done. Come here and get it if you're hungry."
With a sigh, you got up and made your way to the kitchen where Al sat with a sickening smirk, the stench of last nights victim lingering in his hair and on his skin. It seemed to float through the air. He was still immensely satisfied. Must've put up a fight. His eyes had a malicious glint he couldn't coat with artificial sugar to make you stay away from the front door.
"How did you sleep?"
"Well, I guess." you answered with a certain melancholy that did not go unnoticed."Dollface, don't fret. You should be happy, he won't bother you anymore."
So he admits
Tears brimming your eyes, you turned to your plate of food and took a bite.
"Allan, I think you used rotting pork. You should always check the sell by date before you buy meat. It's expensive. Also, when did you start eating meat? I thought you were vegan?"
"Who said it was pork..?"
And that's what broke you. Your heart dropped when you realized. You had just eaten your boyfriends victim. A human.
"Al.. I - why.." was all you could choke out between fits of sobs.
He chuckled. "Well, I'm afraid I can't tell you anything, after all, we can't have you tattling on me, now can we?"
So no more sugar coating.
What had happened? When and why? What had become of your boyfriend..? What have you gotten yourself into? Allan was never a good person. You should've broken this off when it was fresh.
"Aw, doll, there's no need to cry. I did this for you so just know nothing will ever hurt you. You're mine. Don't you go forgetting that, now."

You had been scrubbing all day but the stains just wouldn't come off. This time you watched all the action. Watched as Allan killed his own brother. In his own home. He insisted you watch, so you knew whose you were. Who you belonged to. The only thing the the sponge absorbed were you tears as they hit the floor. Scarred, you had let James's blood dry, unable to do anything productive after witnessing such a sick act, but now it resided on your floor in large splatters that refused to leave.
No one ever came to your house anyway, so Allan no longer bothered to hide things. Besides, you were the only other person who knew, and who he was doing this for.
There was no escape for you. Allan wouldn't allow you a cell phone and you didn't dare take his. There was no wifi, landline, or housephone so all you could do was hope you were dreaming as you sat on the couch. Beside the tv, propped against the credenza was his weapon. A baseball bat, once a charming brown was now dyed crimson along the once pristine nails hammered into it.
You averted your attention the the television as the news came on, firstly announcing the murder of James Williams and one other man. You never figured out his name, for just then Allan promptly turned the tv off.
"Hey doll, you know I love you, don't ya?"
....
"Yes."
"Then why don't you come here for a sec, I got somethin' to show you."
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
At this point you weren't even fazed by the dismembered bodies. What Allan had showed you caused you great grief, but had simply become a regular occurrence. He had broken you.
"For you." he said as he hung his brother's head beside your shared bed.
