Who does he think he is? He can't control me. Im walking to my apartment, sobering up slowly.

"Thinking about me?" I hear beside me, causing me to jump in fright. I see Chris leaning against a car outside of my apartment.

"What do you want?" I spit out. "Had to make sure you didn't get yourself killed," he smirks as he pushes off of the car.

"How many times do I have to tell you?," "You don't need my help I get it," he cuts me off walking the opposite way. "Why do you do that!" I shout, feeling my face flush with anger. "I don't know what your talking about," he turns toward me, eyebrows scrunched in confusion.

"Its like you know when you fucking piss me off," I mutter, turning to walk up the steps to my apartment.

"Wait, you live in this dump," he asks, in front of me in seconds. I stumble back, surprised by the closeness. "Yeah. Is that a problem?," I ask as I try to pass him. He side steps me, causing my anger to rise. "Ok, listen here you stubborn bastard. I don't know who the hell you are or why you even bother, but I'm trying to live my life without more shit. So if you don't mind," I seethe, shoving past him and up the steps.

When I reach my door, I look back to see an empty lot, with no Chris in sight.

I put the key into the door, hearing the lock click. I push the door open with anger, hearing it slam against the wall. I throw the keys on the stand by the couch, sitting down with a sigh.

What is he doing to me? I feel like he's breaking down my walls and making me think things that haven't been thought for years.

I hear a creak on the floor boards behind me and turn quickly, and see nothing there. I laugh quietly to my self. Who would want anything from me - I freeze, feeling a hand tighten around my mouth.

I let out a shaky breath through my nose, only to find the airway blocked.

I hear a growl in my ear and feel myself begin to tremble underneath the persons hold. Why did this have to happen to me. I feel the persons nose drag up my throat, stopping where you can feel my heart beat erratically. They take in a breath and moan, causing a tear to slip out of my eye.

No. I'm not weak.

I start to struggle under their grasp as I try to slip out of their hands. I bite down hard on the intruders hand and feel them release their hold on me. I sigh quickly in relief and make a run for the still open door.

Before I can get very far, I'm pulled back into the grasp of the intruder, feeling them bite down on my neck. Letting out a blood curling scream, I feel blood drip down my neck, falling onto the floor.

The intruder is ripped out of reach and I'm sat in a daze. I look down to see blood pooling out of my neck, onto the floor beside me.

I turn to look at who saved me through my blurry vision and am met with bright red eyes. I let out another scream and begin to crawl back. My back hits the wall and I shut my eyes, begging for this nightmare to end.

"You're going to be ok," I hear an all too familiar voice say, and I open my eyes to be met with Chris' face.

I feel my head get to heavy for my shoulders as it rolls to the side. "Stay awake for me Giovanni," Chris says as he lifts me up and rushes out of the door.

It feels as though we are flying through the air as Chris carries me. In no time I am rushed through the doors of the Hospital and set on a stretcher. "She needs help over here!" I hear Chris yell as nurses rush over.

A load of questions are asked and only one of them sticks out. "What happened?" a nurse asks as I am carried away. "She was bit by an animal," Chris says in the distance before everything is dark.
