Chapter 4

After my performance Serena came up to me and said "Well if two people are needed to enter for a showcase anytime I know who to ask"

"Thanks a lot Serena!" I say and we all walked back to the hotel eevee still on the opposite shoulder of pikachu. They seemed to be getting along really well.

We asked for some rooms and managed to get 3. One for Bonnie and Clement, one for Serena and Ash and one for me and red. I'd finally get to find out what he wanted to tell me!

We all went in our separate rooms except Ash who said that he would be out for a walk. As soon as the door closed (or we had thought it closed) I turned to red who was standing there not facing me.

"I guess you deserved it straight. Y/N, I love you. I love the way you battle. I love how kind you are to everyone. I love the way that you perform. I guess I just love everything about you! So... WillYouBeMyGirlfriend?" Red confesses still facing the wall on the side.

I stand there dumbstruck for a few seconds. I would have never have thought that red was the kind of guy who'd fall in love. Especially with someone like me!

I stand there and think for a bit before saying "red... I love you too. I love the way you help people. I love how you went out of your way to carry me all the way to the Pokemon Center when you could've waited somewhere till I could walk. Your helping Ash achieve his dream while your postphoning yours for him. Of course I will silly!" I say back.

I hug red in a friendly manner and he hugs me back with one arm. What we didn't know was that there was someone listening in. And that persons heart had shattered to pieces knowing that I had chosen red over him.

We got in the same bed with our pyjamas on while red put his arms around my waist. We fell asleep with my head on reds chest and reds arms around me. (Sorry if I didn't make this bit very well, I'm only 12 and I've never had a boyfriend so sorry!)

~time skip to the morning at breakfast~

"Good morning everyone" I Say in my usual way. Ash just stood there and quietly replied "Hey". It looked like he didn't want to talk so I let him be. I just hope that he'll be alright.

I let out my new eevee and Bonnie came and asked "can I brush it? Pretty please?" And there was no way you could say no to her so I let eevee hop into Bonnie's arms while Bonnie brushed her.

We all sat at the table awaiting ash's food but when it arrived it didn't look to good. In fact Ash looked worse than the food itself. "Ash please tell us what's wrong! We're your friends and we'll always be here for you!" I say trying to help.

"I'LL TELL YOU WHAT'S WRONG!" he screamed at us "YOU" he shouted as he pointed at me "YOU CHOSE RED OVER ME AND RED DOESN'T EVEN HAVE ANY FEELINGS FOR ANYONE! YOU SHOULD'VE BEEN WITH ME BUT NO YOU CHOSE RED JUST BECAUSE HIS POKEMON ARE BETTER AND STRONGER!"

"That's not wh-" I started but I got cut off by Ash again. "SHUT UP, EVERYONE JUST SHUT UP! I LOVED YOU, I HAD A CRUSH ON YOU! YOU COULD'VE CHOSEN ME BUT YOU DIDN'T! AND I CAN'T BELIEVE MYSELF BECAUSE EVEN NOW I STILL LOVE YOU AFTER ALL THIS MY FEELINGS FOR YOU NEVER WENT AWAY I HOPE YOUR HAPPY WITH YOUR SELF!"

Ash got out and slammed the door. Somewhere in the middle of all that I had started crying without even realising it. I was going to go after Ash but Serena pushed me away from the door.

She stared at me with a look of cold hatred as she ran after Ash. I stood there feeling lonely, sad and confused. But mostly angry. Not at anyone but myself.

Never in my life had I did anything to hurt anyone. I can feel the pain and sorrow. It clogs up my neck. My breathing becomes rapid. Red comes over to me but I push him away. I stand there tears streaming down my face even though I'm not crying.

A second later, I run. I don't know where I'm running to but I run anyway. As far away from here as I can. I don't ever want to come back. I don't want to leave red. I love him a lot. But he deserves someone better. He should be with someone who doesn't hurt anyone. Anyone but herself.

I end up running to the edge of the town. I spot a mountain nearby. That's where I'll go. That's where my life can continue in its misery. I never enjoyed battles. Mostly because I won them all. I've never felt the sadness of losing.

That's why I don't care if I throw my life away. I'm sure it'll make everyone happy if i'm not there.

Sorry this chapter came out so late. As I said, with a lot of tests coming up, you don't have much time you can sacrifice for wattpad (unfortunately). Boy do I hate high school.

Anyway hope you liked this chapter. Please don't kill me for what I did =3. I mean every story must have a turning point. I also personally think that, unless someone gets hurt in some form, a story is pretty boring.
