Chapter 9

The Professor looked startled for a second or two but soon regained his composure. "Red, how old are you?" The Professor asked. "19, why?" Red replied throwing a question right back at him. "So it's been 9 years mon amie, since we last saw Y/N, and every since then, you don't believe that she could've changed. I mean look at you. You've been in Mt silver for 9 years and you've changed completely. I think that there's a connection between you and Y/N. You both suddenly appear on the same date and all this trouble starts. I don't think that it was you who did all this because Ash is your brother and so I believe that it was Y/N," he said.

"And what evidence do you have?" Red questioned. "What do you have against Y/N?". The Professor sighed, "Well both the murderer and Y/N were wearing a black hoodie...." And he continued to explain some things that he thought made his argument stronger.

Huh, it seems that the Professor hadn't thought of everything. I mean what if this so called 'murderer' was trying to save ash and his friends. Huh Professor? Red looked at me with a smirk on his face he made his hand into a thumb's up shape being careful to not show the Professor.

"So Professor, have ever thought of the possibility that this so called 'murderer' was actually trying to help them from the fire instead of causing it?" Red yet again questioned. I couldn't believe it, red heard my thoughts, unless... i mentally facepalmed. I was thinking in aura. Red can also use aura unlike the Professor. Thanks red! I told him and he replied with a no prob! But we're gonna catch up after this okay? And with that I nodded.

Red had finished talking with Professor sycamore and started to leave. He headed my way and I turned back into my shadow form. Red looked confused as to where I was but he kept moving so that Professor sycamore or any of his assistants don't suspect anything. I let red know that I was following him through aura and told him that I'd explain everything when we get to a safe place.

We exited the corridor and found ourselves at the top of the stairs. We headed down until we reached the ground floor of the lab and we started to look for places that we could talk in private. In the end we jumped into the janitors closet because we heard footsteps but when they disappeared, we decided that we might aswell stay here. As soon as the lady left, I jumped onto red and he fell to the floor me on top of him.

Surprisingly I didn't blush but instead, said in aura Red! I thought you were a gonner! He replied back to me, not in aura but in a silent whisper "Why would you think that! And why aren't you talking normally, is there something wrong?" He questioned. I tried to sigh but i couldn't and red noticed. "Please tell me, after all I am your boyfriend, but if you really don't want to talk about it, I won't force you." He pleaded me.

I raised an eyebrow. Girlfriend. I guess that it's true. I said in aura. "Hey you said these exact words when I asked you"...

Flash back

Red: "I guess you deserved it straight. Y/N, I love you. I love the way you battle. I love how kind you are to everyone. I love the way that you perform. I guess I just love everything about you! So... WillYouBeMyGirlfriend?"

Y/N: "red... I love you too. I love the way you help people. I love how you went out of your way to carry me all the way to the Pokemon Center when you could've waited somewhere till I could walk. Your helping Ash achieve his dream while your postphoning yours for him. Of course I will silly!"

End of flashback

I'm surprised that he remembered but I guess I forgot. I loved red and I may not feel it right now but I'm sure I still do. "So are you going to tell me?" He snapped me out of my thoughts.

And so I told him. Through aura of course. I told him what I could remember and what green had said while i was in that cell. I'm sure red knew more of what had happened than I did. And throughout the whole of story time, my face was dark and showing no emotion. All the while all red did was nod and stare off into the distance. I don't know if he's listening or not but I didn't bother myself about it.

In the end, red sat there silently and not a moment later he hugged me tightly. I sat there startled for a bit but then hugged him back. "Im so sorry" he apologized to me, "I'm so sorry that I let this happen to you, you didn't deserve it and it's all my fault,". How was it your fault red, you didn't do anything wrong! I said to him trying to comfort him. But he looked at me and stared into my eyes. "But I did" he replied with a blank expression with seriousness in his eyes, and that seriousness reflected into my plain E/C eyes.
