chapter 2: trainee friend

(Y/n)'s POV

I woke up early because of my stupid alarm! Oh yeah, I decided I should run this morning since it's been a while since I last moved my feet.

After realization I went to the bathroom and did my morning routine, I walked out the bathroom with towel covering my body and a towel wrapping my hair to be dried faster. I looked over my closet and decided to wear this

This is good enough. Instead of wearing a hat, I just tied my hair in a ponytail so i'll look more refreshing.

I grabbed my phone and headset, and trailed out. But before that, of course I said goodbye to mom.

While I was about to run someone bumped into me making us fall under our butts, I groaned.

"I'm sorry miss.." I looked up and saw a beautiful girl I believe she's a little older than me. She handed me her hand and I took it, "I'm sorry again,I was just so excited to see my parents again." I smiled at her.

"Its okay unnie! Not a big deal.." I smiled at her, she showed me her sweet smile every boy can fall for, she a lot tales than me since I'm only 5'3"
(just imagine yourself hehehe).

"What's your name?" She asked, is she gonna be my first friend?! Woah!!!

"It's (y/n) Li." I bowed 90° at her.

"How old are you?" Woah! She shook my hand does that mean we're friends?

"I'm 18 years old unnie." I said and smiled.
"Oh really? Wah you're young! I'm
Yesuel Kim, 22 years old trainee of JYP entertainment." She bowed in front of me.

"Wow! Really?! So you're training to become a kpop idol!" I said excitedly and she nodded in agreement.
"Wahhh, I've always wanted to be a kpop idol.." I thought not even knowing I said it out loud.

"Then you should audition!" She held both my arms "give me your phone number and I'll give mine, let's talk when I finished meeting my family." She said, we both exchanged our numbers and bid our goodbye's and decided to meet each other later.

She then walked away I looked at her till she disappeared, I continued my morning run and head back home by 9:00 am to help mom and tell her I have already made a friend! I'm sure she'll be VERY happy.

"Mom!" I back hugged her, and went to the fridge to get some cold water.

"How's your run?" She asked while she's preparing the ingredients for lunch.

"Its good, pretty tiring what are you going to cook?" I asked her.

"Chicken chow mien." She answered,

"Nice!" I clicked my tongue trying to remember what I was supposed to say to mom.... "Oh yeah mom!" I shouted she flinched, I laughed "sorry, I made a new friend!" She looked at me, she looks like she's about to cry...

"I'm so happy for you (y/n)!" She hugged me tightly "what's her name?" She asked.

"Its Yesuel Kim." I answered her "she's and eonni." Mom looked at me shock.

"How old is she?" She asked.
"She's 22 years old." She smiled at me, and I smiled back.

"Does she work already?" Mom asked, she's one curious mom.

"She's a trainee in JYP entertainment." She looked at me wide eyed , same mom same.

"You mean the one you're always talking about?" I nod at her.
"Woah, she's going to be a singer then?" I nod again.
"Didn't you want to make songs and perform too? Why don't you audition?" I looked at her,

"Will you allow me?" She looked at me with that 'are you kidding me look'

"Of course! You know that I wanted you to achieve your dreams right?" I smiled at her, I want to cry... I really love my mom!

I hugged her tight and just in time Yesuel eonni texted me and said to meet her at front of my house.

I said bye to mom first and head out to see eonni.

"Eonni!" I waved at her.
"(Y/n)-ah!" She waved back, I ran to her and we both laughed.
"We just didn't see each other for almost 1 hour we missed each other like we didn't see each other for a year!" We both laughed about the realization.

"Why don't we stop by the bakery shop I'm always in?" She said wiggling her eyebrows at me, I giggled and agreed to what she thought.

At the bakery shop...

"Wah, for a bakery shop this is so cute." She hummed in agreement.

"Let's sit there!" She grab my arm and drag me to a sit near the window.

"So, do you make songs?" Yesuel eonni said after ordering for us.

"Well..yeah,, but mostly rap songs." I said shyly, no one has ever heard of my songs except mom who sometimes peek through my door and listen closely.

"Woah! (Y/n)! You should really audition for it! trainee rappers in my perspective are.. Crappy.." She said the crappy in a whisper tone "let me hear you!" She said, I looked at her wide eyes, at first I hesitated but also felt happy that someone wants to hear me...

I rap in front of her 'agust'd' made by suga from bts and she's in dazed.

"You!" She pointed at me loudly, good thing there's no people here.

"Please quiet down eonni!" I whispered at her. She laughed at me.

"Why don't you come with me tomorrow at the company the audition is still going." She smiled me, I looked at her.

"Sorry what? Me? Audition?" She laughed at my reaction.

"Yes!" She pat my head.

"But what if I failed.." I looked down on my hands.

"They will love you, (y/n)-ah believe me." I looked at her, and she gave me the sweetest smile.

"I will...." we both smiled at each other, and our order came.
